Entirely possible Rudkin is just not doing anything because he doesn't have to. I've wondered a lot over the last few years how much of this is incompetence vs laziness. Obviously it's both, but I think a massive part is that Rudkin just doesn't actually do much work.

Rudkin will have assured him it's all under control, so he's gone back to play with his horses for a while. There's no rush for Rudkin to actually do anything, it's months until the last week of the transfer window so what is there to do?

Getting a season ticket this season is tacit endorsement of the insane mismanagement of the club. Talked to a guy in a pub in Burbage this evening. Told me how he'd been going to the games since he was 11 and he's in his sixties now.
