Happy with that score! (Less happy with how the game went.)

Wonderful! DAKA!
-
How was that not a foul (not complaining!)
-
Confident? No. But hope is a virtue!

That was ... amazing! (How are we winning?)

This is terrifying.

It is like watching Summer league...

Can we actually complete a pass?

Yeah...

VAR! I love you!

I had some medical issues, so pretty much couldn't even follow the games from Dec. 22 - May 24. I have no idea how good the present players are ... but watching the first games this season, I am praying a number of them are better than they have been playing, and just need a kick up their behind. But I am not sure I will find out tonight.

I am just concerned because he hasn't been in charge for any length of time. I don't think he is shell-shocked: He knew what he signed up for. I am hoping we have a good game, and get at least a point out of it. If we can get some stability in December and get further away from the drop, and have a good transfer period in January, I will be hopeful. -

It's a no lose situation for him. If they get the drop, no one will blame him. If he keeps them up (or even gets them doing half-way decent), he's a miracle worker. -
I want us to get through January and get some better players in... get an easy 3rd round game, and then make a a nice run (which we can't really do with the present squad.)

In their defence, he did get sacked fairly quickly. -

But if you know you only have one game in charge, you really aren't gonna have an incentive to make any changes. -

I admit I am not as unhappy as others - I also hope that knowing the new manager is watching in the stands will up their game. -

I am happy with this ... at least it is interesting, as opposed to the "I guess" attitude with the last appointment. -

Brentford (A) Saturday 3pm PreMatch Chitchat

This happens quite often doesn't it? Don't we see a new manager watching a game from the seats because they signed right before hand? He'll get an evening out in London after the game! (I don't know why I dislike Brentford so much ... I generally don't mind the smaller London teams - aside from Millwall, of course - but Brentford has always annoyed me.) -

It is the fear of owners/staff being told they made a "ridiculous decision." It happens in all sports. I am from the United States, and you look at our teams in American Football, Baseball, and Basketball, and the same guys keep getting hired, even though they got fired from their last team for losing so much. People would rather fail and say "we hired an experienced person" than fail and say "we tried someone new". Of course, football is different, given how international it is, and the seeming distrust in the ability for English managers to win trophies. They'd rather higher someone from a second level European team winning a league where there aren't any other teams really top class than hire an English manager who did surprisingly well in the toughest national league in the world. -

I think the delay is because they are playing a drinking game to seem which member of Foxes Talk rips their own hair out first. -

Do you have any predictions on what his dream starting 11 would be with our present squad? -

I would love a cup run, to tell the truth. (As long as we stay up, of course!)
