In Stranger Things, the boy's body was actually a fake and stuffed with cotton wool - they ought to check that out.

I'm not sure that's the post you wanted to make

According to a post yesterday, you simply need to check if they eat the same food as you, share all your values, like the same TV programmes, and know how to queue.

No. The people in charge of naming Edinburgh’s tram are insane

Farage going full "I'VE GOT MORE FRIENDS THAN YOU'VE GOT COWS" Partridge is excellent.

Check out Maitlis' two interviews on social media today. Absolute class.

I'm willing to bet your sample size is pretty small.

My son is Colombian - and he would agree with me when I say that what you've written is abject tosh. He hates salsa, never eats sancocho, and rarely builds remote control submarines for drug exporting. Being born in a country defines your personality? Your outlook? Piffle. His values, like mine, are humanist in nature, not tied to a narrow-minded sense of British exceptionalism. What even are unique British values? How do they differ from those anywhere else in the world? Catholics and Protestants share a similar outlook in Northern Ireland do they? You share the same attitudes and values with Just Stop Oil and the Tufton Street climate change deniers? You are at the same time carnivore, pescatarian, and vegan, consuming only roast beef and never a sushi roll? Maybe you need to think about your "huge and clearly obvious point" a little bit more because it's neither huge nor clearly obvious - bar being clearly obviously wrong.

Patriotism is complete horseshit, the expectation of blind loyalty to a geographic location simply because of where women broke their waters is ludicrous. Some tit on Twitter was going on about being proud of our shared language. What does that even mean? Especially seeing as the more patriotic people claim to be, the less they are able to construct a sentence in English.

Been in A&E for three and a half hours now, and I think I’m qualified to say that the majority of people who are/have been here are malingering fvckwads with no discernable ailment. Thing that’s got me most has been the number of people who wait for 30mins to an hour and then decide they’re going because they haven’t been seen quickly. Them, and the teen d1ckheads who’ve been treating the place like an adventure playground, managing to overcome fatal ailments to keep popping outside for a fag, and generally making the security’s lives miserable. Them and the couple who decided that since their request for a bed to lie down on while waiting had been ignored, helped themselves to a treatment room. How NHS staff go to work and don’t punch the public everyday is probably the most amazing thing about them.

He’s a 78yr old manchild replete with a barrow load of personality defects - the only thing that ever changes about him will be his adult nappies.

Don’t want to waste people’s time or take up space someone else can use. I know what’s wrong with me, so does the surgery - it’s just they’ve done what they always do and try to get away with the cheapest drug option. It’s a question of pain management, and they aren’t managing it.

Vets charge a grand just to weight your dog

Got insane pain a bunch of muscles - not slept for more than an hour a night since Friday. Can't get a GP appointment, been prescribed pain killers that don't kill the pain. I'm going to sit in the surgery reception tomorrow so they can suffer me making my constant and very annoying pain sounds until someone there does something.

Making all journeys take up to 75% longer is such nonsense it's not even worth debating...which is why the suggestion is in the correct thread
