  1. The obvious move for Coady is Sheffield United, let’s be honest
  2. I think subconsciously he must think his England chances are pretty much gone now? He didn’t play a minute at the World Cup and not named in the latest squad. Not getting any younger, I’d say it’s definitely worth a try.
  3. Everton not signing Coady permanently and for me this is exactly what we need. He’s got experience of leading a Championship winning side and the captain we’re crying out for. Wonder whether he’d be willing to drop down.
  4. This has been truly dreadful hasn’t it
  5. The highs and lows. it’s been a truly awful season to be a Leicester fan but I’m arguably more hooked than ever. We’re constantly debating who the next manager will be, individually scouting out new players that are clearly not going to even be on the clubs radar and looking forward to next season’s away days, etc… I’m glad the season’s over and we can all have a break from watching the football but, likewise, I absolutely cannot wait for the first pre-season game.
  6. I don’t mind the montage too much, my only gripe is that it’s not really changed in about 5 years now - at least mix it up a little. They’ll definitely still run it next season, mind.
  7. Are we convinced that Terry would actually stay here? Didnt he leave Villa after they stayed up because he didn’t want to be involved with coaching full time and the demands of that? It seems to me that Terry wanted to come here because it was a chance to coach in the Premier League again, 6 weeks of work for good pay & because he could play golf every day after training.
  8. Now that we’ve seen the other pair play for us, it actually makes Hassenhuttl’s job at Southampton all the more commendable considering that’s the box of tools he had to work with.
  9. Who cares what his management team want, though? Daka has showed us absolutely nothing to indicate that he’s better than championship level. Time for him to prove why we spent all that money on him
  10. Wonder whether we can get Carlos Borges on loan from Man City? Left winger with bags of pace incredible numbers in the PL2 and massively raved about by fans but has never had a look in for the first team.
  11. Emma Hayes would be really fun, why not!
  12. We’re going to desperately need wide players. Alan Virginius on loan from Lille is one I’d like.
  13. Been having a quick look at what some clubs charged Birmingham City supporters , because what else is there to do at 2am coventry £33 QPR £30-36 Watford £20 Sunderland £29 Millwall £27 Huddersfield £25 Norwich £30 Swansea £32.50 Bristol City £33 Blackburn £25 Stoke £25 Hull £20-24 Middlesborough £28 Rotherham £24 Cardiff £23

  15. I actually think Mendy is probably the most obvious Luton signing of all. Nakamba has done a brilliant job for them on loan from villa but would command a fee. Mendy going there as a like-for-like replacement makes a lot of sense.
  16. Thought all interviews he gave were pretty poor also today. He was here long enough to point a few fingers or take some responsibility. He didn’t and sat on the fence the whole time. Personally will be glad to see the back of him.
  17. Anyone who wants a season ticket should get one now, surely? Perfect chance for the club to have a good reset on priority, memberships and all things tickets now.
  18. Without doubt, the board not having a plan in place for the Villa/Bournemouth double header was disgusting. But yes, it’s true - Smith had no plan for the most important games in our season - even the Wolves win he got away with. Very surprised to see so many people defending Smith this evening.
  19. Decent article - thanks to those who shared the paywall link. However, I think he lets Rodgers easily: he should clearly have never let it get as bad as he did. Also don’t agree with Dean Smith having a “nearly impossible job”. The fixtures included Leeds (who were in utterly terrible form at the time), Everton (Terrible away record), Wolves (Basically safe), Fulham (who had little to play for) & West Ham (Nothing to play for & far more focused on ECL) - this was by far an impossible job and he should have done far better.
  20. Can definitely see where you’re coming from, his Derby side had Tomori and Mount, but did only just scrape into the play-offs. I wonder what our relationships are like with clubs such as Chelsea considering the vast amount of deals in the past. We’ve typically been tough negotiators so wonder whether they’d be willing to do us any favours.
