  1. Expect pelters Gerrard definitely a better punt than Lampard but both are too much of a risk and quite frankly not qualified enough. We need to get it right.
  2. Just watching MOTD - I reckon Southampton could be up there. Probably not going to lose too many players; Sulemana, Armstrong x2, Livramento, etc… looks like a strong grounding.
  3. If no one wants him I genuinely think Soumare could still do a job for us. Classic 4-4-2, KDH and Soumare as the two in midfield
  4. I’m by no means a Union FS lover, but the stick and hate they’re receiving in here is embarrassing. Far from the problem in our fanbase. Well done to the lads within there that have given it a go again this season and for the effort to improve the atmosphere.
  5. Whilst I think you’re right, I can still see us getting 100+mil for some of our assets. Let’s assume Barnes, Maddison, Daka, N’didi, Praet and Soumare all go as a minimum, that’s got to be 100 plus. Would it not be worth making Nacho the main man and giving him a decent contract for a couple of years? Like the poster above says, he’ll be a monster in the championship. Maybe we can make it happen, perhaps not - ultimately, can’t imagine anyone is fully aware of the true extent of our finances.
  6. Would love us to take the same approach with Iheanacho as Fulham did with Mitrovic. Offer him a new contract and build the team around him - one of the few who’s never let us down.
  7. If there is a silver lining, it does appear that Brendan’s stock has dropped as a result. Doesnt seem like he’s even really been considered for the Spurs job, really.
  8. All valid points, of course and the Club haven’t helped either (no booking history sale or increased priority points for long trips & risk of being ID checked) but just thought we’d at least push 2000. Just a personal opinion, obviously.
  9. Clearly it’s been a terrible season and the bastards have given us absolutely nothing to shout about. But I don’t think anyone can argue that 1,300 sold for a game of this importance is a very poor turnout tbh. Monday night, mega trip and on Sky, yes. But still.
  10. It’s time.
  11. Is this the game our fate is sealed?
  12. Today put to bed the idea that he should be anywhere near this team next season, regardless of what happens.
  13. I’m sure it’s been mentioned somewhere in another thread, BUT this guy trying to gee up the fans at half-time when we’re 3-0 down angered me like no other Leicester player has angered me before. how can you be so f***ing stupid.
  14. Away pubs?
  15. Shakey and Deanoooo, They knew the place to go, They only had one dream, To keep city in the league, They brought Soyuncu back, and sorted our attack, then Deano said to meee, i fu***** love Leicester cityyyy To the tune of the Blackpool Charlie Patino chant.
  16. How did he get on?
  17. Just utterly ridiculous, yet again, from this completely incompetent board. You either back him all in, or not at all.
  18. Hasn’t Roy Keane followed MON in his past few jobs? O’Neill and Keane on the touch line. I’m all in.
  19. I get what you’re saying, but come on, the mass exodus only a goal behind really isn’t helpful. Look at Everton last season, they didn’t stay up through the sheer tactical nouse of Frank Lampard - their fans rallied behind them home and away and got them over the line - like they did last night. You mention the penalty, yes the correct decision but Vardy beat Martinez to the ball and it really wasn’t far away? To say we had zero chance of getting back into it is incorrect imo.
  20. Thought it was a lot better today. Still room for improvement but it was decent down there. As I’ve mentioned in another thread, shame about the twats who left as soon as we conceded. As much as their atmosphere is shit, you wouldn’t see Everton do it in the same situation yesterday.
  21. Well done everyone who left as soon as they made it 2-1!! Absolutely brilliant effort from the masses. compare that to Everton yesterday, same situation, a goal down and 10 men. Not a single person had left. Typically, that sums up this fanbase most of the time. Shame because I actually thought the atmosphere was ok throughout.
