  1. Firstly, I appreciate there are probably holes in my German football knowledge I think what I’d like to see is more of the chants we see regularly on an away day. Granted, I know our away support also flatters to deceive but like others have said, Villa, United and Brentford have all been pretty impressive recently. On those games you don’t really ever get the chants previously mentioned (On a Saturday, Come on Leicester boys, Pride of our city), that in my opinion never take off and have a harmful effect on the atmosphere rather than a positive one. I’ll also appreciate it’s a tough gig coming up with catchy chants and I don’t have too many suggestions of my own, but I definitely think we need more player specific ones.
  2. Agree with this. “Come on Leicester boys” is the one song I simply refuse to join in on. The other is slightly better but agree it’s not one that we should have as regularly as we do at home fixtures. I hear what you’re saying about Union FS being all ears, but from my POV, I’ve not seen too much being communicated to the fans. I’d like to see polls, directly asking fans what songs they’d like to see, etc… apologies if this is the case and I’ve missed it but I’d quite like to be directed to the place if it is.
  3. I do tend to agree with this and as someone who was at the top last season, it has certainly changed for the worse in my opinion. To be completely honest, I like what Union FS are doing but in my opinion the chants need to change. Some chants can go on for for 4/5 mins that people have no idea of the words to (minus the 20 in that group). I know it’s just them trying to be creative but in my opinion the chance of genuine improvement to the atmosphere is being drowned out by Union FS trying to come up with chants that replicate German football. For example, last week Brentford away got great reviews with the rendition of “we love you” - why does this never get sung at home? We’ve got to start with basics. At what point do you give up with that “follow home and away on a Saturday” chant - i think that’s what it is anyway and it’s garbage. Everyone around me sighs when it’s sung. The drum doesn’t help with this either - I’ve heard a few catchy chants start at the top over the course of the season and they’re immediately drown out. solution: get UFS in the middle of the stand and sing some classics rather than stuff that no one knows.
  4. Xabi Alonso for me
  5. Would greatly appreciate one spare if anyone has one going?
  6. If anyone has a spare let me know!
  7. He plays on the left, he plays on the right, let’s all admit Castagne is shite
  8. Sadly true, whilst you can’t criticise people who go week in, week out, the support is god awful - along with that photo, if you go on YouTube and find the ‘key moments’ video, there’s literally a shot of our fans where you can see 2 older supporters sat down, not even applauding or smiling when we scored. How can you enjoy that?
  9. Anyone got any experience of collecting tickets from the ground? the only option now is to collect at St James’ and the person I want to go with isn’t the person under the name used to buy their ticket. Mine is, however and I’m the lead booker.
  10. Was probably due to my positioning then, I was right down the front to be honest and it definitely didn’t travel down to where I was.
  11. Hard to understand the criticism he’s getting from a few this evening
  12. Truly terrible end tonight.
  13. Got two spares. Can meet at ground.
  14. Still going, can either meet at ground or deliver in the morning
  15. Obviously a lot has already been covered already but it really was the most hideous away end I’ve ever been involved in, virtually any chant was a chore for people to join in on. Everyone is entitled to support the team in their own way but the amount of people who stand in silence at games baffles me. last night I moved to 3/4 different locations in the away end to try and get something going - the amount of times I was stood next to a family/group who literally stood in complete silence the whole time was crazy to me. People who clearly were together not even talking to each other? How do they find any enjoyment out of going, each to their own but it baffles me.
  16. In the singing section, no difference again I’m afraid. Early days but little change.
  17. How’s it selling then
  18. Still no ticket for this? Anyone else?
  19. Was quite staggered the amount of moaners there was today thinking about it. Someone also said to me that they’d been sitting there for 3 years and used that as part of their argument. so basically, you knew that’s where the atmosphere was, moved there, don’t make a noise and then moan when others try to create an atmosphere
  20. Echo what’s been said above. Two chaps next to me who this season, haven’t sung one chant, chatted to anyone around them but each other and also refused to celebrate our opener vs Spurs because of what I can only assume was a bet on. Today they were ranting constantly about having to move, whilst gesturing over to the union fs lot. Thank god you’re going chaps, good riddance. Only other thing, @Union FSwhere are you aiming for next season, down the bottom or at the top? Just don’t want to get lost in the middle ground👍🏻
  21. Hi guys, was just wondering if anyone has any advice. Ive gambled with William Hill for a little while but after I banned myself from everything on Gamstop, I then created an account in my brothers name but have always used my card. I’ve won some big bets over the time and never had any problems withdrawing until now. I put a fiver into my account (using Apple Pay for the first time) and won £200 on an Acca. it’s asked me to use bank transfer to withdraw and I’ve tried 3 times now on both my bank cards and my brothers, but each time it gets blocked and reversed. Has anyone got any advice?
  22. That’s before the end of the season though isn’t it? We aren’t going to sack him before then
