100% correct. But the 'man child' that is Top won't do the right thing and actually sack Teflon Jon and Calamity Sue anytime soon I'm afraid.
-
I'm with you mate, no way do I want "Pep's clone" back here. Don’t want to watch his boring football. I still can't understand his stubborn unrelanting insistence to only play the "Enzoball" system without any flexibility, even though when here it was nearly our downfall. We were incredibly lucky lastvtime and if it wasn't for our closest competition getting nervous, start sh1tting themselves, and let us off the hook by dropping points we were destined for the playoffs, also chuck in the fact that the footballing world is now beginning to suss the philosophy out, (Hence IMO Man Cities drop off in form and dominance) not to mention we can't put together a team anywhere good enough to even make it half work, no Pep's "mini me" is not the answer people..
-
What a arrogant d1ck RvN is. Winks instead of a waste of space Soumare would be a better option for the team or even just as a different dimension off the bench, but no, not even in the squad just to prove his point.
-
But is he any good? I must confess I've no idea on that front
-
Bingo...100% correct. It's not just Teflon Jon, but the other board members that are contributing to this fiasco that need sacking along with him But start by canning him, then appoint a DOF who will look to pick up an up coming manager with a few seasons at least experience (no idea personally on names thete people) but no one with Pep/ Enzo tippy tappy 1 billion passes from the back type of football philosophy... its really crap to watch, teams are now sussing it out, and most importantly it won't work with the team we can realistically put out on the field.

Running endless amount of laps around the athletics track at Saffron Lane training I'm the world's worst footballer, I struggle to trap a bag of cement, so I needed another sport, thankfully I turned out to be half decent.. I didn't really start following the club until the following year.
-
I don't want Martin anywhere near the club. The bloke is a total looney, his post match interviews are cringeworthy, and if the club cast the net a little further out and actually worked at this a bit by not looking in the pool of usual suspects we could do a whole lot better..... but hey this is Leicester we're talking about, owned by a idiot, employing other idiots who have a brilliant track record and have done such a Stella job so far.
-
No.. not yet. The poisoned dwarfs was a master class. He was building "mental bridges" from the beginning of pre season by over high-lighting what was wrong at the club, but all of what he said was outside the sphere of his control ( work with what ive got, im not a magician, not back in the market etc etc ) and then bridging it to the worst thing that could happen to him...his sacking. So that when the club eventually got round to it and we sacked the tw@t all the media, and pundits etc were. 'Oh poor Brendan' as they remembered all the horrible nasty things he had to put up with whilst he was our "manager" that he continually said and reminded people in every media opportunity over and over and over... if he could have managed us as a team as good as he spun the rhetoric we would have won the champions league, all the cups and had a record points tally for winning the league... total fraud

Total waste of the lads time and a slot on the bench
-
I'm beginning to really go off the guy now.. I used to cut him a margin of slack (not a lot I might add, but some) as I felt a little bit sorry for him as he's so obviously out of his depth, but now he's just being a plain old willy puller extraordinaire with his antics. Just fook off please, preferably before kick off..
-
And unfortunately.... that's where the poor lad will stay. Ruud is full of "uranium enriched weapons grade" sh1t. What's the point of actually using up a spot, putting the kid on the bench when he's already come out and insinuated that he wont play him until his balls have dropped and his current schooling permits. He's a total 'Bell of the End' It will be some tripe like, continuing the training with the 1st team experience.
-
That would be me done for the duration of him coming here... I would cut complete involvement with the club and my visits here would also stop as well
-
Good post and I agree with all your manager related points. Whilst I don't hate Lampard as much as yourself, I do however find him a "bit of a tit" and I wouldn't be best pleased if he was appointed... however, there is no one in the history of humanity that is worse than Brendan " the odious, back stabbing, lying dwarf " Rodgers.
-
Spot on..good post and totally agree (except Ndidi in defence, need him in midfield. Oh. and definitely drop Soumare)
-
Whilst I agree that he's had 'naff all real support' , I'm polar opposite on the idea of giving him the task of rebuilding next season. He's shown me nothing to prove he's a good manager, as the horrendous results coupled with the unwanted non-scoring record have embarrassingly proven (I still firmly believe we are performing way way below the true sum of our parts and a better manager would have gotten a least a tune out of this squad) so IMO he's seriously out of his depth at this level and at the Championship. We need someone who is experienced next season, and this rebuild is going to be a delicate thing we have to get right. The situation is going to be near on impossible anyway with 'Teflon Jon' and 'Calamity Sue' still fudging things behind the scenes, as Top is to scared to grow a pair and do the right thing, so we need the manager to be at least half right to stand a chance. RvN isn't that man..
-
I hear what you are saying and agree to an extent. But, even admitting the squad is lacking in quality, they are, IMO still under performing to the actual "sum of their parts". I'd like to think that with a better manager, coaching and match tactics, the results, even with squad would be better than our current position. Surly if we had not had not had RvN in charge for the last 17 games, and instead actually had a more experienced and slightly more competent manager running the show he would have instilled a better mentality overall. (Personally even I find RvN dour, lacklustre and uninspiring) Someone who actually played our best players from the first whistle. Someone who had an idea about in game tactics etc. I genuinely feel, even with this squad, and with the above, we would have had a better points tally and league position. I'm not claiming mid table but certainly not bottom 3.
-
Not with Top, Sue and Teflon John calling the shots. We can all see it that Ruud is not fit for purpose and deep down I think they can to, but pride, arrogance, not willing to learn from numerous past mistakes and basically utter incompetence is getting in the way of doing the right thing. RvN needs canning ASAP. Not to save this season, we are done, but to install some damage control early doors, as I want this bafoon as far away as possible from any rebuild or Championship campaign. But until Sue, Teflon, and possibly a few hidden others at board level are given their marching orders, so the same mistakes aren't made 'yet again' we are screwed. Over to you Top......
-
Totaly agree. And until they 'wake up and smell the coffee' especially at home games and actually stop clapping post match ( I'm not saying start booing by the way) but just.get up and go, completely blank any player or group of players that come over for their inflated egos to be massaged, and just greet them with row's of backs filing up the steps and out of the stadium then the message "may" get through. Only at this point when 95% of the fans attending are 'finally singing from the same song sheet' and can drown out the remaining 5% of the its a nice day out brigade and a unified message can be voiced will.it make any difference. But I fear that day will never come as our fan base on the whole is too weak and happy to settle for mediocrity.
-
Oh just fvck off Ruud with that selection and bench choice. Clueless willy puller.

If Carlsberg did calendars...... -
100% agree.. IMO He's just not management material, and certainly not at Championship level. Just his team selections prove that, playing Dads Army for starters, not starting with Stephy and especially Facando who show they are better optons when actually making it on the pitch. Faes....welln enough said, and not even considering playing any youth, just teasing them with 1st team training , then rewarding them with a spot on the bench. Poor subs. etc etc. Get him gone ASAP...

What’s the best plan for our squad next season?
Guppys Love Child replied to Haywood_6's topic in Leicester City Forum
I'd take all of that mate if I'm honest. Hermansen whilst great, can be easily replaced by Jakub, as he's more then capable in the Championship. Ndidi, I think we have seen the best of. The rest, especially Faes and Soumare are all sub standard, and / or a drain on our resources. Get what we can and fee up spaces and wages. Then some smart deals of up and coming players, on realistic, not over inflated wages....... oh wait, Rudkin. -

I assume this is just your opinion, or do you have evidence to back up your post. I'm not looking for an argument my friend, but your first two paragraphs are quite damning, and have a mild "ITK" esq feel to them. (No, I'm not saying your are an ITK) -
Enzo - would you have him back?
Guppys Love Child replied to tickler28's topic in Leicester City Forum
Nothing against him personally. But never in 20 billion years would I want his absolutely abhorrent brand of (and I use this word in its loosest possible form) "football" back at this club. Even if we had the players for it to actually work - which we don't, and it was nailed on we would be promoted.. I watch also for entertainment as well as results, and Enzoball is not entertaining, its purgatory in its quintessential form. -
