Half way through the season, no clear identity or way of playing - he’s totally out of his depth. Get rid.

Carse is arse.

Fantastic game!

Yet again....braindead shot and absolutely no need.

How can you be 4-0 down at half time and not make a single change? Just to send some kind of message, if anything. Absolute clown.

Return to usual then. Any team that scraps and wants it more and we just roll over.
-
No need to play at that - his insistence of refusing to leave the ball is so frustrating!

Yeah, it looked to me like Duckett was playing the wrong line anyway, and his bat came down at a funny angle and not straight which doesn't help. We're so infuriating. The Aussies are a decent side, yeah, but we're making them look so much better and causing ourselves so many problems. You just know once we lose one wicket, we're liable to lose two or three in quick succession.

Can't say it hasn't been coming! Concerning thing is there's 10+ minutes left...can we hold on for a point?! -
Honestly, not a clue. I've been working in project management for the last decade, specifically in automotive which is obviously on its arse in this country. I had wanted to pivot and do something else back in June when I took redundancy. I had a couple of interviews for roles which would have accomplished this but no dice, then a job came up and it was automotive and I got sucked back in. I need to have a serious think about what I'd want to do, but always what is viable, long term.

A bit of a bump as I know that this season isn’t festive for everyone. It can be an incredibly challenging time for so many, so if you're struggling, hang on in there! 💪🏻 It's been a shit year to be honest. I went through redundancy in June, but I'd been signed off from work since March with depression and anxiety anyway. Now it looks like I'll be getting the bullet on Wednesday from the job I only started in September. It's not unexpected, as I just haven't been able to settle, and I don't really enjoy the job or the culture, so in some ways not carrying the burden into next year will be a relief. Still, I feel angry and frustrated at myself because on paper, it's a good job which pays well, so it feels like it's an opportunity missed. My mental health has certainly contributed negatively to things, and it feels like I've essentially sabotaged myself - though I can accept it isn't all my fault, as to why things haven't worked out in this new job. Anyway, it looks like I'll be going into the new year jobless and without much direction or motivation. Maybe it's a sign I need to do something else, but I'm really not sure what! I've so far dodged going back on any meds and I'm having weekly therapy sessions to help to try and get a handle on things. Let's see how things go.

Yeah, that was odd! Imagine all of those are rich people who've paid insane amounts for the privilege. Bit cringe.

Well done to Lando! Especially on pulling his missus. And thanks to Max for making it as exciting an end to a season as it was.

Snoozefest, just your typical commentators trying to hype things up.

I'm still very much on the fence. Let's make sure we follow up today with a good result in the next game - today will mean nothing if we go and lose the next game.

Having this about an hour after the Ashes this morning, life is a bitch sometimes!

It's just so predictable. You just know, once we lose a wicket, we're likely to lose two or three more in quick succession. And as others have said, the Aussies are only a decent team, missing their best bowlers, yet we're making them look so much better.

A 9 point deduction, with this bunch of weaklings and this manager? We're bang in trouble, make no mistake.
