I'd be a lot less harsh on him if, now over a third of the way through the season, you could see some sort of identity and way of playing. But there's nothing at all, we just rely on bits of individual quality and if nobody steps up on that front, we don't score and, obviously, we don't win. The squad on paper (I know) is better than 15th. Yes, we have serious issues in the squad, and have done for quite a few years now,, but I refuse to believe any half decent manager wouldn't be able to do better job of coaching us. I've said it before, that last minute winner against Norwich has only served to delay the inevitable, which will be us needing to move him on. Difficult circumstances sure, but I think it's clear that we won't move forward with him - and even if we persist and finish the season in around the same place, I've seen nothing to suggest he's the man to lead a rebuild next season, once we've cleared more of the dead wood out.

We're absolutely woeful. There's absolutely nothing about us at all. We should see that out - especially against ten men. Marti going too defensive, too early and trying to sit on a 1-0 lead, at home, against a side who always posed a threat and, let's be honest, were much the better side, especially when our defensive frailties are so clear, it's just so poor from the manager.

I've been in my new job for about two months now, and I think I'm feeling how Marti probably is at the moment. A bit out of my depth without a shadow of doubt, but also that I'm surrounded by a lot of people with rather large egos and overinflated opinions of themselves, who can't accept being called out on their shit, especially after getting away with doing a shit job for so long. I haven't got that dog in me, so I've already began to zone out and look for another job, likely before I get sacked! Just a shame I won't get a payout like Marti will!
