Not sure why Everton/Everton fans seem to think they're the first to discover FFP is a scam. Every smaller team that gets near to the top falls as they can't keep up the spending required. We've seen it with us, Wolves fell away when they were consistently 7th, it'll happen to Brighton/Brentford etc.

For sure, if they acknowledged this rather than pretending to be extremely knowledgeable on all then they'd get a lot less stick

Most like to sell us as either money bags or absolutely falling apart. Anything to downplay what we're doing.

Honestly I can't see why other leagues haven't jumped on this trend. Bundesliga sides have to some extent. But jumping on British talent, especially English players, if they do have any sort of success English clubs are then willing to pay a premium for them.

Brilliant frame here actually from a tactical point of view. Huddersfield had blocked their backline with 5 all game, and we've managed to take them apart here. Wingers are on the touchline to stretch the full backs apart, Cesare has a really good position occupying the LCB, and their central CB has had to push to stop the potential turn and go from Winks/Yunus.

So I guess it depends how you look at it, I don't think a result has been impacted. But I've certainly come away from games where the official has definitely altered the game (not necessarily the result where our quality has shown), or lost control.

If he's guaranteed money and time then he'd be fine going there. The new owners will want to put their mark on the club and probably will spend money.

M6 yesterday they'd closed a lane leading to the slip lane, which I've had to nip into to get onto the slip lane, so awaiting to see if I'll get anything from that. Cameras flashing left, right and centre at the variable speed limits is always concerning to watch

You could tell we weren't as smooth with that however, the runs and passing triangles weren't as fluid first half. Yunus looked a bit lost initially as well. He has the technical ability, it's whether he can show it in the faster and more physical English leagues.

Really good start to his career here. One of the first goals this year made from nothing by the striker, only other really comes to mind is the Vardy screamer against Blackburn. Let's see how he does against a more testing opposition, especially with his build up play. But so far very promising.
