Are you seriously expecting people to applaud someone for "draining the swamp" that they themselves created and which had become a millstone around our necks...??? And some of the swamp is still full of the s**t that no-one else wants (Soumare, Faes, Daka etc) I must remember to contact the police every time i drive home without breaking the speed limit so they can applaud me.

Knowing JRs record, he probably negotiated that we would under-write 10% of any sell-on loss as well as any profit...!
-
If i were you, id actually write back to the LCFC supporters services now and offer your services to them for supply of future information on the club as its quite clear from their response that you obviously know a lot more about what's going on inside the club than they do...!

dont worry....it wont last !

I had to read that twice just to convince myself that you WERE actually being sarcastic...!

£110 mil is not to be sniffed at but dont forget....they are the only 3 significant academy player sales we have had in the past 4-5 years. Chelsea have realised £41 mil this summer alone....so that doesn't include fees received for previous sales of Mount, Hudson-Odhoi, Guehi, Tomori, Loftus-Cheek, Solanke, Gallagher etc, etc... Im not convinced our current crop of youth talent is going for continue producing the revenues that barnes and Chilwell did......especially now we are no longer such an attractive/high profile option for young talent. -
I know many parents whose sons went through that academy and they/their sons were treated with total contempt by that man, simply because in his opinion, they may not have been good enough to make it as professional footballers. I also know of several ex-players and coaches who were similarly treated simply because they chose to speak out about things they didnt agree with. There is a saying in business/life...... " be careful who you s**t on when you're on the way up in life as you're quite likely to meet them again when you're on the way down!" hence the reason why i and many others will never have one ounce of sympathy for that man...he who lives by the sword, dies by the sword!

"As always...!" Lol Having supported LCFC for over 40 years, this is the 1st time ive felt so disillusioned with the way the club is being run that ive chosen not to invest any more money.....not quite sure how that equates to "as always..."?? Having stood on the terraces at the likes of Exeter and Oldham when we were absolutely s**t and getting beat in midweek games, im not exactly the kind of supporter who joined us after "the great escape" The difference is that in those days, we were not necessarily s**t down to poor financial management, poor recruitment, player contracts etc.... it was because we were just a middle-of-the-road provincial club with no money and no way of recruiting better players. I had no issue supporting us when we were truly s**t on the basis it wasn't purely because the club wasn't being mis-managed by idiots who didnt care about the fans I dont class myself as a "former fan".....i class myself as a lifelong LCFC supporter who will always support LCFC, but one who now refuses to pay any more money while the club is being managed so badly by people whose only concern for their supporters is purely a on a financial transaction basis and who have absolutely no connection or engagement with their fan base. I have no issue with anyone who loyally supports the club as you and many others do, in fact you have nothing but my total admiration.....but nothing will change as long as people keep paying their money so if you're happy with that outcome then so be it and i genuinely hope that next season brings you a lot more joy and euphoria than last season.
-
I agree with you......but my point is that if you go to eat in a restaurant that you know has very poor reviews and a reputation for food poisoning, you shouldn't really be surprised if you get food poisoning or poor value for money. With LCFC, we all know what's happening before you buy your ticket so if you're happy to buy a ticket on that basis then go-ahead......but please dont complain unless you're actually prepared to do something about it and make some sacrifices (PS when you say a season ticket buyer has every right to complain.....who exactly are they complaining to because Foxes Forum are NOT the decision makers.....and no-one else is listening?)
-
You're either part of the solution....or you're part of the problem! I will never criticise those fantastic and loyal supporters who continue to follow this club and pay their hard-earned money....but as long as they keep on paying, the message to the management and owners of this club will NEVER hit home! I made a vow to myself 2 years ago that i will NEVER pay a single penny more to this club until Rudkin is removed from his role as DoF....and i fully intend to keep that vow I am just one "small and insignifcant person" and i fully recognise that nothing i ever do as an individual will ever have an impact, but what i do know is that if we ALL keep on paying our money, nothing will ever change so the only way i can ever make a difference is by refusing to accept what is being done....and that is exactly what i intend to do. The day Rudkin is gone i will return.....until then, anyone who wants to keep on financially supporting what is happening to our club has NO right to complain!
-
Funny you should say that......Ive Been a supporter for 40 years, but I refuse to go and watch anymore 2 seasons ago until those responsible for the mess we are in take ownership and do something about it Im not paying any more of my money to the people ruining this club. if you want to carry on "feeding the machine" then crack-on, that's fine by me,.....but nothing will change until the stadium is half-empty so please don't moan about it if you're not prepared to make any sacrifices yourself. (PS im not saying YOU do moan....thats directed at those that do moan but do nothing about it!)
-
i read somewhere today that we had sold out all season tickets for next season (im praying thats not true...?!?). if ever the owners wanted a clear message from the fans about the way they feel things are being handled then this was surely it...... "just keep on doing what you're doing and no matter how badly you run this club, we'll still pay to come along and watch...!" So depressing that when fans get the opportunity to vote with their feet/wallets, they refuse to do so.

unbelievable in view of the others who have previously been "allowed" to leave on free transfers...clearly the lessons have not been learned?!? I dont know what PNE were originally offering but im guessing it was a lot more than £ZERO so we've just paid out >£1m in wages for a player we didn't even want and who didn't play a single minute for us all season......in addition to turning down the £2-5m they offered to pay us....?!? Unbelievable really that this mis-management continues to happen.....but unfortunately, its just not surprising anymore and everyone has just become so indifferent to it..
-
the best and funniest thread i've seen on here for some time....some very funny contributions! Im beginning to think maybe we should keep the guy as this is the only thing that's brought any joy to me this season......what will we do without "the king of comedy"???
-
That's fair enough as im guessing she's probably doing that as well....!

KDH is not a Man Utd fan....its his dad that's a Man Utd fan so i think thats where he gets his interest from. His mum and his step-dad are huge foxes fans. -
to be fair to Eddie Howe, his record suggests he has a point...!
-
i think we all know that while RVN certainly was NOT the answer to our problems.....he wasn't the cause of them either! If you dont address the root cause of these constant failings, how can we logically expect the outcomes to be any different? Good business people dont base their projected outcomes on serendipity....they challenge the assumptions and make sound business decisions based on knowledge, experience and judgement rather than just "hoping" to get lucky "next time"!

absolutely 100% spot on..!!!! So many of the academy coaches and staff retained their positions simply because of their gratitude and blind loyalty to JR because he wanted people "behind" him he could trust. Insecure people do NOT employ people who they fear may over-shadow them....and that's why the poor ones that remain speak so highly of Rudkin i witnessed a succession of great youth coaches at LCFC who worked at U9-U16 level, many of whom do NOT speak well of Rudkin....but i never saw a single good one between U16 to U23 as they were the prime jobs reserved for Rudkins mates (ie beaglehole, Peake. Petty, Goodwin, Tucker etc...!) Guy Branston also coached my nephew for a while and he was very popular with the kids and the parents....but he is another who is simply indebted to Rudkin for his start in football and cannot afford to speak out of line in view of his new career as an agent. My nephews agent at that time was highly respected in Football and he thought Rudkin was a complete w**ker.....but he would never of course say so publicly as it could have been potentially detremental to any future contract/transfer dealings. And one final question i would have put to Guy Branston if he thinks Rudkin is such a great DoF and the supporters have no clue about how good he is..... "If the difference between the EPL and The Championship is as big as you say it is (which i agree it probably is!), then How the F**K did we manage to get relegated in 2022/23 ahead of the newly promoted teams (Fulham, Bournemouth & Forest) when we were an established PL club and they were trying to bridge such a massive gap...???" if the gap is as big as he thinks and that's his excuse for us struggling this season, then how come none of those three clubs promoted in 2022/23 have been relegated yet our outstanding DoF has overseen 2 relegations in 3 seasons? -
It was...you were right. Evident by the delay in the applause which was purely an appreciation for him not celebrating in any way

Maybe just a timing issue...?or maybe we just became a bigger draw post PL title success? Either way, it doesn't always translate into them making the grade professionally . in my nephews age group several years ago at LCFC, they had 8 players who had played at U16 international age group levels.....NONE of them made it into a PL team and only 2 of them still play professionally to my knowledge, although i suspect a few more may have made it with better coaching and pathway development at U18 and U23 level -
maybe, but marginal gains are not going to solve this mess for us now....it goes way deeper than that! Personally, im not convinced even Slot, Klopp or Guardiola could do much with this group of players right now.
-
but who decided/recommended to appoint them....and all the others that we're probably still paying off? Doesn't matter which way you slice & dice this complete s**t show of an equation, it still all comes back to the same person.....and do we really still want him in charge of the next re-build that is going to have to happen over the next 2 years? We are in a lot of financial trouble right now with an over-paid and ageing squad, minimal re-sale value....and the need to buy fresh blood to strengthen and re-build our squad for next season. this is going to need some "seriously" good wheeling and dealing from hereon to try and sort out this mess that's been created and we cant afford to get it wrong AGAIN so i am genuinely concerned that the owner is going to leave the responsibility of that rebuild with the same guy that has largely got us into this mess in the first place......RUDKIN Definition of madness? "Keep doing the same thing the same way and expect to get different results...!"

The definitive list of King Power / John Rudkin c**k ups.
Foxy-Lady replied to AKCJ's topic in Leicester City Forum
I can confirm this. he also failed to announce over 30 goals we scored at home that season that were not reflected in the scoreline as a result of him not announcing them with the outcome being we lost games we actually won and ended up getting relegated as a result. All of this was accurately documented in the end-of-season root and branch internal review into the mis-management of our disastrous relegation season that was NEVER published but for which Brad quite rightly carried the can.
