he went over to ask if anyone could give him a lift home...

To be fair, i imagine Agent Rudkin is treated like an absolute God in Cov areas.....never has to pay for a drink or a meal anywhere he goes in Cov.

If he had said 100 million, Rudkin would have negotiated him down to 110 million...!

Administration Prediction Date

Not sure if anyone has picked up or commented on this yet but.......the Last set of financial accounts we posted for the period ending June25 showed a £60m (100%) increase in PL Broadcasting revenues Vs prev year when we were in the Championship.....and yet we still somehow managed to post a Loss of -£70m Bearing in mind the next set of account we publish for the current season will once again be based on Broadcasting rights revenue for the Championship (ie similar to 2024!) , its quite likely we will see a reduction of -£50m in revenues which will make it highly likely we will be posting ANOTHER significant loss for the current season....regardless of how much they have managed to reduce our overhead/wages costs by. Add in the nightmare possibility of relegation to Div1 where the revenues will decrease even further, it becomes very difficult to see HOW we will manage to financially turn round this club without either significant external investment OR sales of assets.....which potentially leaves us with even less than we currently have....ie LESS than f**k all...! -

Yep, Town Called Malice probably my all time fave too. Also had a brilliant B side track on that single (precious) ironically, there are some pretty appropriate lyrics for this thread in TCM..... " Cause those rosey days are few" "Its enough to make you stop believing When tears come fast and furious..." -

Outstanding re-work of a classic track.....literally singing those lyrics in my head! And top marks for squeezing in "western Boulevard".....IYKYK! -
Absolutely 100% correct with this response....especially the key points highlighted. "...the tumble down to a second tier relegation dogfight is a hell of a lot worse than the collapse under Mandaric..." "...it's quite possible that - one year from now - the club's position will be terminal, or worse" "...give the restructuring a year to see whether it works or not. Had it been done two-and-a-half years ago, when it was clear that it was necessary, you might have a point. But, thanks to Top, it wasn't" ..."owing to the incompetence of people who remain in the key roles at the club, there is a real prospect of our overheads outweighing the club's value within the time frame..." Totally beyond me that the KPFC fans cannot (will not?) understand the potential long-term financial consequences of some of these disastrous decisions.....and that those responsible are still with us in key positions (CEO, SD, Chairman). If anyone thinks that Rudkin will give the new DoF freedom to operate, they are deluded....one of the men who got us into this mess will still be calling the shots.

They're thinking of extending it to the Top 22.......there's still a chance...!

Interesting....but, worryingly...not surprising...! It must be like trying to talk sense to people who blindly follow some weirdo death or religious cult and trying to explain logically that what they believe in isn't real and doesn't make any sense...! In the end, you just have to walk away for the sake of your own sanity as they will eventually find out for themselves .....but it will probably be too late at that point. Out of interest, it wasnt David Icke you were talking to was it..?!?

Im genuinely shocked to hear that....and i cant believe its not more widely known.

Jon Rudkin - anything.... -
What do you mean by that....do you know something we dont?

Just checking in to see if he's still with us.....was hoping for some better news...!

Im not one to get carried away with hyperbole but Tbf, the interesting thing about that highlights reel was how much more attacking and positive he was in the 2nd half of that game and how much higher he played up the pitch. Was playing like a proper No.10 in that 2nd half If that was his first outing for them, you would expect him to take some time to get up-to-speed with his new team-mates (ie 1st half!) so if he carries on improving for the rest of the season like he did in that 2nd half performance, he's going to do very well there....! Dont shoot me down for this as Im not suggesting for one second hes anywhere in the same class but......... physically, he reminded a bit of Modric the way he looks and played in that 2nd half...!
-
so have i....just saying!
-
definitely not the worst theory ive ever heard...!
-
Just to be clear....i am an LCFC supporter and was stood on the Kop that day because i was with my Liverpool mates from college. I didnt actually witness any of the bad behaviour from where i was stood or afterwards....i was just commenting on the applause and sporting behaviour of their fans on the Kop. (PS unusual to hear of Liverpool supporters throwing coins....they're normally nicking them, not throwing them!)
-
I was at both those games too. Like you, my dad took me to the Leatherhead game when i was 8.....one of my first ever games. Seem to remember some fella called Chris Kelly scoring for them. The Shrewsbury 5-2 game remains the best LCFC game ive ever seen in terms of drama, atmosphere and emotion. Not often you finish a game with your 3rd GK....who is 5'7" ...! I was in the south stand standing enclosure that day....absolutely packed in like sardines. Weirdly, i think the pouring rain actually added to the atmosphere that day...! The Shrewsbury game doesnt quite beat the Stevie Claridge "shin of god" moment.....but it was a great game!!!!
-
was that the day Ian Wilson scored the winner? I was there as well and we had a huge following that day.....but dont remember there being 10,000 of us?
-
This got me thinking last night.....was this the largest ever following we've ever taken to an away league fixture?? Crowd was just short of 14k that day and it was estimated we had 10k fans there. Cant imagine many other league fixtures where we have taken >10,000 fans....but im sure someone on FT might know the answer to that?
-
Absolutely iconic day...brisbane Road, May 1980 Bit anxious about what might greet us when we walked out of the tube station onto Leystonstone High Street.....needn't have worried..........seemed like the whole of leicester was there that day! One of THE great days...!
