Not convinced by Spence on the left, would've started O'Reilly and had Spence to come on for James who still is unlikely to be fully fit, but we'll see... -
Nyland trying to redeem himself for that carabao cup semi final masterclass at Villa...

Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR

Gives me Jeff Schlupp vibes... strong, quick, but questionable ability on the ball. The most memorable thing I remember him doing is skying a 1v1 at home to Everton then getting a rock on -
Can confirm at my ripe old age of 25 I remember the relegation to league 1 and Gareth McAuley (?) hitting the bar away at Stoke... Sadly my age prevents me patronising people online, but I'm not sure I'd want to proudly tell anyone I've seen us sh*t before and I'm A OK with seeing the same again. It's clear as day we're being (mis)managed into a hole we may struggle to crawl out of again, and it's not through sheer incompetence, but a complete lack of care and apathy - King Power out all the way

Strange one this, Nguhoma who has played 1, ONE, premier league minute (yes scoring a goal) and Dowman who has played a grand total of 26?

Where's stephy, have I missed something?

Does really well at times holding the ball up, getting the team up the pitch, then all he has to do is pick a pass to one of the 3/4 players in space... but time and time again he seems desperate to do it on his own and get a shot off regardless. I lost count of the number of times today I was screaming at him to release the ball, the worst occasion being when he decided turnung back and taking a shot from close to the touchline instead of laying it back to Winks to potentially make it 2-1 was a better decision. I just find him so f***ing frustrating

Not sure I ever expect to love and relate to a team as much as I did to that 12/13 - 15/16 squad, some limited players but ones you knew would give there absolute all week in week out, Nige being the absolute legend he is and obviously Ranieri capping it off with the Premier league... if this squad, or more so the 22/23 squad, had even half the hunger and passion then we wouldn't be in the state we are now
-
There'd be no reason to check - if he didn't go on with the ball and instead pulled up and stopped then it would just be a plain old offside, nothing for VAR to check as there's no 'other' outcome if he stopped
-
Not sure if it was a tactical decision from sh!t the bed steve, but he was far too wide today, completely stunted stephy and led us to killing attacks on our left. Facundo came on and operated more centrally, we, and stephy, looked better

I agree get Vesty back in, but alongside Okoli for me - Vesty is much more progressive with his passing but think with the confidence of being first choice Okoli will be more dominant, and make fewer mistakes than Faes

Bizarre thing is I heard as we were getting cooper he was meant to be great at developing the younger players, yet... we're signing geriatrics, and he has seemingly decided Nelson / Braybrooke / Alves aren't even worth a look at? Buena coming off today for us to revert to 3 holding midfielders, would throwing Alves on to push for an equaliser really have been any worse? Guess I'm just dissapointed, I thought if nothing else this season we'd have some young up and coming talent to look at, some hope for the future in place of doom and gloom, and the way it looks now we're settling for a season with PL has beens Ayew and Bobby DCR
-
Knockaert announced his retirement today - not the greatest to ever pull on the shirt but he was pure cult hero for me

Hey Jim, let's look down the list of PL winners and see who we hit first... what an arse

Agreed, it does next to nothing when you consider the actual earnings across a season generated by ticket sales, but gives clubs the opportunity at a thinly veiled up yours to the fans who will be easily replaced by the tourist fan spending X amount in the fanstore each week, sad state of affairs really

I've just been scrolling through this exact comment thread and it's actually massively disheartening... quoting FFP and previous price freezes as justification for a whole demographic of our fan base literally unable to afford to support their club any longer. No wonder the fans get fleeced when the bulk response on there is to follow like sheep and 'fvck the fans that aren't as well off as me'
-
To make it even worse I'm pretty sure it's his left one out the door... and we're extra fvcked if we're left with his right
