  1. Win tomorrow and not only will we get 3 points but Forest will drop to the bottom!!!!!
  2. But at least they got stuck in and made some deals happen - at least 3 in and 3 out in a day.
  3. Anyone notice how much business Southampton did in the transfer window yesterday? It can be done and they have managed to move players out and get some in.
  4. Seems clear that the players are mentally not in a good place and however hard they train and prepare for games the negativity will not go away under the present regime. We need a manager and staff who are going to come in and change this mindset. It may not be the manager we would ideally want but in the short term we need to be looking at who is capable of instilling a feeling of belief and worth as we go on the pitch. 40 points is now the aim for the season and not 60+.
  5. All 4 1 and 1 4 all.
  6. In this case the player doesn't want to play anyway. Having sorted out all the business side what will he then feel like if the medical fails?
  7. Always makes me wonder why the medical is often the last thing done!!!
  8. Difficult to see how we can achieve any sort of success in this transfer window. We needed to get players out, well Soumare has now changed his mind and Vestergaard wants to fight for his place. Perez may or may not leave on a free. Presumably Fofana will complete his move to Chelsea at the beginning of the week leaving us 2-3 days to get replacement(s). This will still leave us with far too many players and several will probably not get a place in the Premier League squad. What then happens with them? It all feels like nothing will change. We still have Soyuncu, Vestergaard and Amartey as central defenders which is where our weakness is at the moment. Fofana's replacement will have to be good and stay fit. Ideally we need to ship out two more players than we get in. So, if the ideal is a new CB and a RW then 4 players need to leave. Not holding out much hope that anything near this scenario will happen.
  9. If Dyche is the man who could shore up our defence then he may be a good interim choice. We have been making errors for months and need to become much tighter at the back. Once that is achieved we can start to use our flair players to a greater degree and without fear of shipping goals all the time.
  10. That's the worry.
  11. Ranieri won the league.
  12. Saints setting up for an away win. Why are we not surprised?
  13. Not sure Tielemans is winning many fans at the moment.
  14. Hopefully left our name and number and he will get back to us!!!
  15. Yes, it's needs to be done asap and then move on. Time for us to get a couple of new faces in. Then we can relax and hopefully rebuild morale.
  16. Just seen the post match interview with Rodgers. He seemed abject and without any answer to the problems staring us all in the face. I don't think I've seen him so deflated and not expecting anything exciting from the season. Clearly he is feeling thwarted by the prospect of no new signings and may feel his time is up.
  17. Surely the lure of the world cup must be a dream for any player.
  18. Absolutely but we've had 3 months now and not got even close to moving anyone on. Similar situation to when we had Slimani, Silva etc on long contracts. My reasoning is that it is now probably time to turn to Plan B while we still have time to get replacements in key positions.
  19. Probably correct but the situation seems to be that we can't buy anyone either. If we'd had cash for new players maybe we wouldn't have missed Barnes so much on Sunday. Also could have two new centre backs so that we don't have to play the old favourites!!!!!!
  20. Would suggest that for the future of the club we accept the highest offer we can possibly get as soon as possible for Fofana. Shame, but needs must. Then we persuade Maddison and Tielemans that it is in their best interests to stay at Leicester and assure them that we are going to give this season one heck of a go to qualify for at least the Europa League. With the money from. Fofana sale we reinvest a large part on strengthening the two weak positions in our team. As for the players we can't seem to move on, well there is still time before the end of the window Nd surely some will be of use to other teams.
  21. Be interesting if anyone is a actually left out of the squad today as a result of potential transfer activity. I'm not expecting so but in this game you never know.
  22. No Choudhury or Perez in the squad.
  23. Do Arsenal have anyone who might realistically be available and worth a punt in part of an exchange deal for Tielemans? I feel that it will not be a healthy situation for the club if he stays around for another season without signing a new contract.
  24. If you had told me back in May when the last kick was made in the Southampton game that we would not have bought or sold anyone by July 13th I would not have believed it. More chance of winning the Premier League!!!!
  25. Not just yet!! But. Watch this space.
