Hopefully there'll be some kicking off at training today between manager and players. It might be what eventually forces their hand.

I quite like me, I don't know what people are moaning about.

He's an absolute crackpot. What is he actually seeing that he thinks is going to all work out if he just sticks with it? It's not like we've just been unlucky.

I like him.

It's the biggest thing that's been missing for the last 2-3 years, a real will to win. A lot of the previous players just didn't seem at all bothered if they lost, or when they conceded a goal.

A bit early for panic substitutions, especially ones who aren't very good.

Apparently, he can run vertically.

The only difference between 'experienced players' and the others is that the experienced ones aren't too bothered about losing and playing crap.

Well I hope you're right, but Top is in love with this type of football. He's on record as saying it's 'clear it's the way to go' (or something like that), and they were chasing RM for ages. So if he goes, is there anyone else to come in to play Top's type of football? I have no idea, but there can't be many managers out there who would do it, so they might just stick with him and claim it's a 'long term plan' cos they won't know what else to do.

He's here for the long term, regardless of how we do this year.

I used to love the times when managers would just play their best eleven, and then bring others in for injuries or suspensions. Nice and simple, play your best team, try to win the game.

Yep. RMs cronies were all saying it before the season (if he's given time etc), so RM will be feeding it to the owners, and the owners will go along with it.

It's always concerning when after conceding a goal, the team all walk back quietly with their heads down. No arguing, no discussions, no one trying to organise and point out what went wrong etc. It's like they just don't know what to do.

I really think we'll be stuck with him for a long, long time. I noticed when we signed him, there were a few people connected to him saying that he would have succeeded at club x,y and z if he had been given more time, I can imagine our owners will go along with that, even when it's clear to everyone else how crap it all is.

I'm confident we'll get promoted next year, but after that I can imagine us lingering about in mid/lower championship for a few seasons while RM is telling the owners that it will all come good, if they hold their nerve and stick with him.

Unfortunately, I've seen 3 or 4 comments now from people who are close to him saying that he would have been a success if he had been given enough time (at previous clubs), so I can see him being kept on well beyond his sell-by date if he keeps telling our owners to stick with him.

A worrying amount of rhetoric coming out about him bringing success ... if he's given enough time. We're going to be stuck with him forever.

Could likely be more than 6-7. They haven't brought in the other new bloke just to be sat on his hands. Him and RM will probably be well backed.

He's landed on his feet, getting this job. Where else would he get the chance to immediately bring in 6-7 of his own style of player, and then have the fairly easy job of getting the team out of the third division?

The way Ayew played the other day, I think him and Vardy might link up well.
