Tbf I know of one dude who was asked to sit in his actual seat at Boro snow game 2013, he said there's 20k empty seats so I'll sit where I want. Argument with the steward ensued, vowed never to come back and has stuck to it to this day. Im landing at BHX in a few hours (pray the fog stays away…) It’s rail link from airport to BHX station, train to new street then train to Leicester. Annoying but a lot of ‘airport rail stations’ are a faff to get to from the actual airport. Luton charge >£4 to go on their poxy monorail from airport to parkway station

They don't bother opening half of the stores outside of winter. Don't think they are arsed whatsoever about retail revenue. It's a freight airport which allows some passenger planes in. It's like if Farnborough airport allowed some Ryanair's in now and then alongside the gulfstreams

Freight planes land day n night, and take priority over passenger planes it seems. they already have an absolutely huge runway, not sure how they can extend it more. The good thing about Ema is they keep the runway clear during bad weather periods because of the importance of freight. I took off on the snow day in January, when almost other uk airports had many cancellations.
