  1. It’s so heavily edited and all of them are obvs told to take up a character role. Always thought this programme would be better without people on it.
  2. CCL south playoffs penned for this weekend are cancelled as Jersey bulls appeal against their points deduction for fielding an ineligible player. Announcing that at this late stage means Jersey and their associated sponsors/backers have offered a brown paper envelope big enough to convince the league to stfu and promote Jersey, according to some backers I know. I am sure I will get the full lowdown eventually. Weirdly satisfying that sport at all levels is bent as hell.
  3. That's a great post. Still think religious thinking, not religion itself, courses through British life. Think it will take the next generation for that to wash away. Things like assisted dying and normalisation of death, legalisation of drugs, less focus on family life and more on personal ambition will come through. Dunno if that's good or bad tbf, maybe a bit of both
  4. The palace ultras are a bunch of specky Nigel’s. Nothing is to be learned from them other than Sunday afternoon tv listings on ITV3, where the best cabin on a cruise is and how to submit a suspicious activity report to the regulator
  5. I think this post, as well as the thousands of others on this site, overstate how much of a role football plays in people's lives. Most of our fans and those of other clubs follow a football team because it's something to do. It's not life or death, it's not that important, there are far more credible things to focus on in life and their day to day lives are consumed by how much they hate their jobs. Therefore they're not gonna have the time or inclination to write to the club LOL. I'm somewhere in the middle in that I want to take it more seriously but do not live in Leicester and don't regularly socialise with city fans, so most news passes me by. So I can understand why KPFC fans aren't putting their lives on hold to protest but also understand the frothing faux-rage of the happy clappers calling for boycotts and riots from their keyboards.
  6. You say that but it was a bloke in the west stand, looked over 70, that was holding a sheet saying 'WHELAN AND RUDKIN OUT' at Sunday's game. Waved it around at multiple points, including pointed towards the Director's box. This was all while L1 looked gormlessly on trying to make up 'feed the scouser' songs
  7. We obviously aren't investors, we are stakeholders. Stakeholder reporting is a common part of business operations, from public to private businesses. Giving up and accepting that 'we are where we are' will achieve nothing. We need the trust and its Board pushing the club to engage in more stakeholder reporting, like they are doing
  8. It doesn’t matter. Was just thinking whilst waiting at the departure gate I’ve got something to say, but it doesn’t warrant it’s own thread
  9. When and how did dressing like a total slob on planes become normalised. I find it’s not generation dependant either, Gen x’ers who sole purpose for living is Instagram likes as well as baby boomers who should really be on a carnival cruise with other digestive biscuit aficionados. Dressed like slobs.
  10. Why do so many of you have, and actively use, Facebook accounts. That’s weird
  11. Find the club's comms around the relegation quite funny, 'our place in the championship for 25/26 is confirmed' - sounds like an achievement! Thought they performed ok, Liverpool really poor, only needed a few moments to win it. I will however remember this game for a very long time as the woman behind me finally revealed why she leaves early every game, as I was eavesdropping. She said it's because she is uncomfortable with hill starts, and if she leaves at FT there is a lot of traffic so more chance of her having to do a hill start on the way home. That is v reasonable IMQHO
  12. This is pure gold. Really hope this was typed with huge amounts of anger. A simple answer - I guess what he means is our end will be packed with Liverpool fans today.
  13. You defo have the will, you’re a frequent commentator on here about how bad the club is. You will know far more about the club than I do despite me making active attempts to appear knowledgeable in lcfc related convos and speaking with those who do know a lot about the club. A suggestion would be channelling all the energy you put into commenting on here into some physical action (not beating people up btw!!)
  14. I agree it’s very funny but it’s a proper sly move. Ofc islanders are too naive so they’re all ‘woooo let’s get behind the team anyway!!’ But to market yourselves as some community first amazing hub, and then blatantly grab money like this, is poor imo. Won’t have any consequences for them because of said naive locals.
  15. Blue boar rammed, we couldn’t get inside. Rest of them half full. Town busier than I expected
  16. Well well WELL. It appears you are right. On the eve of the final day, having just sold out of tickets and hospitality, the bulls have announced they have been docked 3 points for fielding an ineligible player during a match on 20 march. Apparently they’ve known about this since Tuesday but ofc didn’t let on until tomorrow sold out. Dirty, grubby money grabbing move
  17. Blue boar, two tailed lion, Rutland and derby, cherry tree, salmon. Various cask ales. Fun
  18. Why does that matter. when that occurs all the short term investors that run our game will be gone, or pass on the mark to market losses to the local communities.
  19. Yep they’ll do it. The league is really close but that win on Tuesday has done it. Be interesting to see which teams they play next year. Some new away days for the jersey ‘bull pen ultras’ at least. An ‘ultra’ let off a flare at redhill away and the club got a fine LOL, wild!!!
  20. Yep an overnight train from Oslo, would have been brilliant
  21. Easy parking. Was a lot of fun, my first match. Decent entertainment for a tenner
  22. We could have got them in the 2022 semi final, unfortunately Roma won the quarters so we played them and we all know what happened there. I think I recall Bodo is in the arctic circle, would have been some away day, really separated the happy clappers that went to Roma away from the hardcore and would have been similar fun to Randers away. Jealous that Spurs get that trip
  23. That is crazy, but this is where NFC tickets will come in very handy, it is easy to sell them online. Assume all those selling on this site are not STHs, as how the hell you gonna transfer a card and ensure Seat pick got their £200 (lol) admin fee. The sellers will have to be single match goers who are able to easily transfer digital tickets.
