Will be interesting what he does next season, if last night is a true glimpse I think most would be happy with the counter attacking approach. He can’t be naive and believe we can dominate teams with possession in the prem

Player of the season

What’s this energy you speak of? I haven’t seen it in a long long time

Who do you want for next season in the PL

Any attainable strikers with decent hold up play? Need a Toney-esque striker -
He’s so coachable and still produces a decent output, I’m convinced himself and mavididi just need a striker with better hold up play and they’ll look even better
-
Keep him in the team for the run in to end the season, but ultimately when we go up he needs to be an option on the bench for that centre CB role. We’ll get torn to shreds otherwise
-
Championship team of possible transfers. Who has impressed you?

We need cheap and cheerful in a world of expensive and gloomy, it’s gonna be hard to sign the right players that’s for sure -
Loan deal I presume?
-
Midfielders don’t have it in them to make the quality passes to wingers when they’re in good positions, they’d rather pass it back to a centreback to attempt
-
May as well as had 4 centrebacks on the pitch today!
-
I still maintain it wouldn’t be so bad if we had a target to aim for in the box, not even just that but someone who can hold it up in transitions and lay it off to the wingers who’ll be in better/higher up positions. We only seem to play it wide to our wingers from the centre half’s which means they’ve already got 8 men behind the ball by then giving the wingers too much to do. I get he tries to bypass this with Kdh and Ndidi overlapping them further up but then leaves us with one less player in the box to get on the end of things.
-
I do wonder next season (if promoted) he’ll try copy Man City further with 4 centrebacks on the pitch. Might make fans even more annoyed.

Alves lucked central to everything in that game. Seemed to show real maturity and created chances for team mates rather than just aimlessly going alone; can see why Petty wants to keep him fresh for the first team as he genuinely looks likes a great option to have to swap with KDH or Ndidi -

Whatever division we’re in I hope we put some faith in these players with more spots on the bench. If we’re financially ****ed as they say we are I don’t expect too many signings and hopefully some departures from some of the players out of favour. A true reset finally -

It’s a disgrace we can’t get any clips of the goals? -
We’ll need 3 new centrebacks, new wingbacks, new centre mids and new strikers we should be good to go! 🤣🤣

Pearson in now

Big game from him tonight please
-
I think we’re incredibly lucky to have him

Can he invert? Hopefully he brings us some knowledge on how to win an obscene amount of penalties!! -
Random / Semi Unheard of Players you’ve spotted that we should look at

Was watching him, seems a perfect option for the inverted roll. Has a lovely left peg as well -
He needs a better target to aim at / bring him into play. We pass to him from defence but doesn’t receive the ball from fast counters which ultimately leaves him with far too much to do
-
Find whatever way we can to keep him next season, he’s still so so valuable. We’re lucky to have a servant who has always played at a level above us but has ultimately stayed
-
We need a striker that will either pull centrebacks apart with pace (Vardy still does this) or a target man who does it with physical strength. Daka for all the pace he’s meant to have doesn’t do the former. It’s like when we signed Amartey, he looked rapid in his days in Denmark same with Daka in Austria but both seemingly lost their pace after joining us
-
Hell of a ping on him but lacks athleticism, no wingers to attack him much today
