Smokescreen maybe ?

He’d have been the PERFECT striker for them. Would’ve worked wonderfully with Son upfront. He’s a freak of an athlete

This is just the start, Enzo is gonna turn us to a serie A club, pensioners signed left, right and centre. #welcomeBonucci

Ben Nelson signs new contract until 2027

I really hope he’s added into the rotation of centre halves for more than just the cup games. Ease him in by all means but I’d rather see him get minutes than the likes of Coady who doesn’t look great on the pitch thus far. seemed to really grow into the game; and whilst you can see he still has some filling out to do I thought he left a really good account of himself against Millwall -
You’re in cuckoo land. Went for £25m to sporting Lisbon and has clocked up goals and assists that’ll lead to £60m+ bids for him this summer
-
His best game

Hmm I don’t like the idea of selling homegrown players especially when with the very little we’ve seen of him he’s proven to be a good finisher at the back post. Which I’m sure the eagle eyed fans of ours have noticed has been a new little thing added by Maresca lately with our wingers crosses. If he’s happy being 3rd or 4th in the winger rankings I’d keep him.

I really like the look of Alfie doughty at Luton. If they go down would be an excellent left wing back option (referring to my previous post above) -

Obviously, the below is an outstanding team and even better manager, I’d like us to have the flexibility to play our current formation but also play similar to Alonso’s teams style which would require: a left wing back a left footed centreback another player next to winks i think this would be a more successful formation and style to transfer to the prem. it may be similar to our style but they actually play through the middle more than the wings in comparison to the rest of the league; not surprising when you look at their team. -
if we go up, he'll be our Prom left winger no doubt, the quality is there
-
Great performance from him

LCB for the foreseeable please. Looked better there

Would be perfect -
I don’t rate him as the LCB in this team. Was useful before under Rodger’s but without him being left footed he really doesn’t shine in this side. Defensively looks weak. If possible I’d cash in and sign a left footed cb. Either Doyle permanently or another one with more pace. sad to see but nothing wrong with a player not suiting the current team.
-
If only he was left footed. He’d probably be starting
-
He plays KDH higher up, he’s a the second striker as such. Man City use alvarez in that role as he has the energy and ball playing abilities to drop in as an extra man in midfield or further up the pitch as a second striker. Daka and Cannon are two strikers and don’t have the ability to drop into midfield (at least watching cannon so far but that is admittedly limited)
-
who was responsible for scouting him? give him a life time contract and all
-
I don’t think he suits the position at all. Which is weird as he looked comfortable In previous seasons playing there.
-
Signed a new contract December 7th interestingly enough… agent talk?
-
plays for Denmark as well. hopefully a few of the lads can put a good word in. we have been scouting him for a while
-
I don’t think we’ll get a better player for his role if we are to be promoted, yes he’s limited by pace and struggles with the crosses into the box where he’s not close to his man. But I think the real issue is players not pressing out to the attacker who crosses the ball, we need pacy centrebacks along side him or the energy of someone like hamza to press to stop these kind of balls. his defending has actually been really good this season, I don’t see it changing much in the prem as much as the quality is higher, and I can see us continuing our possession game and it working until we play the big 6, which to be honest is all we can ask and hope for
-
Presume this means we’ve activated this clause which was suggested we owe Salzburg money if he played another game? (Has played 3 since?) unless it’s untrue?
-
I think it also mainly helps we’ve played our strongest midfield, not to discount Daka
