I’m gonna be slightly positive about this. He’s had a lot of experience for a young manager, only problem is not ideal amount of success. he is also a freebie and although most don’t like the style of football he plays it does match with what the club want to do which shows some sort of attempt of structure. my reservations are rather with how we back him

the squad needs an overhaul, will they be able to back him? or are we just going to play a style of football that doesn't play to the strengths? (after most are sold)

Perhaps, when before it was about selling one important player a year, it is now about using the academy to try and sell one of them. play them in the team for a year, hope they get decent exposure and cash in. Monga going for 10-15m with a sell-on, surprisingly no talk about Page or Evans leaving, who could be at least 5-10m players if not more if they have a decent season, and potentially more to come through. sad that we aren’t in the prem as they’d be even higher fees but now we’ve got to play with the cards we’re dealt

JJ looked really good at RM last preseason, can’t remember which friendly but he got 2 assists. Certainly offers flexibility

Ric if there is anything I’ve learnt since being on this forum, there are weird people on the internet who like to make shit up. Again, I won’t search through this forum or twitter for the comments last year about Monga but they were the same

again, there was tweets like this last year for Monga, and they proved to be false; as well as a few ITKs saying the same.

None of the players mentioned am I particularly bothered about. perhaps Logan briggs who probably needs a loan move or perhaps he’s weighing his options at other clubs.
