If we had a striker no one was complaining about id be more shocked as he certainly wouldn’t be with us long.
-
Overreactions. He’s young and has immense quality but we need a suitable sub to him and mavididi for when it isn’t their day.
-
£13,400 for that what a joke! Half a weeks wage for chair
-
He’s relentless. No question we should offer him a new deal, his story isn’t finished here yet

Who do you want for next season in the PL

We need back up on the wings if we go up and he offers a physical presence, if cheap enough I’d take him. Smart signings needed -

Minus any unexpected sales and coupled with the expected loses of ndidi, vestergaard and iheanacho. -we need two centrebacks (CB + LCB) -back up to winks (preferably a taller option in a mould not obviously equal but similar to Rodri) - two no.8s presuming we don’t sign / resign ndidi and Yunus - another winger unless Mcateer is deemed sufficient as back up to both Fatawu and Mavididi - perhaps a striker unless we resign Vardy as the third choice so potentially 7 signings. -
as long as he's on a reasonable contract next season, I'd keep him as the third striker. whilst its easy to get carried away with the the new team rebuild its important to have some experience around the dressing room. he's still a very much capable striker. if however he looks for a payday be it through the MLS or Saudi league then I'll have no qualms.

I like josh dasilva, but he's so injury prone its ridiculous. Lloyd Kelly would be decent. -
He’s not been impressive at all when played that’s for sure

Nelson is class
-
Hope vesty is okay. He’s integral to this side
-
He’s prem quality already I’m sure of it.

Just need a big striker or no.8 to get on the end of some of them. Or we can keep crossing it to the back post to the other winger. It’s a joy to watch when KDH gets in that position in the box

Clearly done the best we can. FFP has ****ed us over there’s no denying it. I think what we’ve been most guilty of is not selling some of our players when they’ve been at their highest values. Ndidi, Kel? Youri, Soyuncu etc were all assets we should’ve cashed in and reinvested but for whatever reason weren’t. People can talk about whether there was interest but I’d highly doubt no one wanted those players in their peaks under us. this chain of events has led to our ultimate relegation and tight finances, paired with rewarding our players bigger contracts (rightly so after finishing in the top 5 twice) but has led to a lack of ultimately flexibility financially. Hopefully we’ve learnt our lesson. If all goes to plan the likes of Mads, Fatawu and KDH whilst being players we should build around are also potential players we’ll have to accept may need to be sold. Sadly we’ve lost the faith that this money will be reinvested wisely and rightfully so; fingers crossed going forwards.

I think it’s more to do with his skill set being of a more broader, physical type like an Ndidi rather than a slight and technical type of say Praet. He clearly would prefer some physicality in midfield but obviously Raikhy can’t just start a game straight away.

Enzo must’ve seen something none of us have as most on this forum have only spoke how disappointing he’s looked for the u21s… I’ll be interested to see how he progresses
-
This is my thought as well. Hopefully we’re fully committing to this system for the foreseeable so any signings or academy players aren’t wasting their time.
-
I can understand your point. But I think we have to look to the fact he’s ideal for the system we currently play, and wasn’t for Brendan ball. Modern football is about signing the right player for the right club but mainly the right system.
-
I’d like ideally two pacey and tall, left footed right footed centre backs either side of him to make it work in the prem. I certainly would rather keep him than coady but I get your point fully.
-
He’s #ITK mate he’s a god …. in his own world
-
Be interested to see most people’s opinions on this but I’d like us to offer him a new deal. He’s perfect bar his pace for our team and would do a decent enough job in the prem
-
It’ll be a summer move. There’s clearly legs to these rumours we’re going for a young promising centreback as we were also linked to a chap from the Bundesliga with a similar description
-
Just get Sensi in, I’m not fussed about anything else bar trying to get some players loans that need it. The likes of Souttar etc would be nice to sell but if we have to wait till the summer so be it. We can reassess come summer after our hopeful promotion.
