I had 1, 2 months back and the actual colonoscopy was fine. Didnt bother with any pain relief just got on with it. Uncomfortable maybe a little at times but certainly nothing drastic. The one thing i will say though is the prep for it is 10x worse. The drinks you need to take to clear you out are disgusting and then you will be spending so long and using so much toilet roll over the course of the next hour or so. That certainly was not a fun experience. Good luck for Monday
