Melton Mowbray. I've honestly never known this type of weather. Whats worse is the water had filled up (10cm high) a step outside my dining room and there was no escape and it started leaking thru the patio doors. (Note to self to get new doors) So just spent the best part of 2 hours mopping the wooden floor which will probably be damaged after being sat under 3cm of water ffs. Had some respite for about 45 mins but its started again with thunder / lightning, hail and rain. Im dreading going into dining room tomorrow ;(

Got the most intense storm here currently, absolutely pissing it down and hailing! How can it hail when its this hot? Thunder/lightning the lot. My drives are like mini rivers currently. And to top it off its still hot. Humidity tomorrow will be sauna level ..
