  1. You are drawing conclusions I did not make. I asked questions about him getting frustrated, and sometimes shooting when he should not - or are you stating he does not do this also? We tend to be feast or famine in here, they are either the saviour or the devil. He is someone in between, but to be clear for the 100th time, yes, please start him.
  2. Hope so
  3. I wasn't saying that Fatawu should not start, that performance deserves it. I was asking if people thought that was he so productive, in part, because he came on as a substitute when he did and he was clearly having a top level game.
  4. I see the argument, but you could also argue that you are not allowing Bilal to flourish by restricting him also. The sensible thing seems to be to start 2 of the 3 (Bilal, Facundo and Abdul) and rotate the third in plus probably Ayew or BCR. The advanced right position being one of Abdul or Facundo and the more central being Facundo or Bilal. As there is next to no chance that Facundo could remain beyond this year, we must not stunt the growth of Bilal. We are basically a decent extra attacking midfielder shy to allow ideal rotation/cover.
  5. Wow. It was a just question based on Fatawu being superb when he came on as a substitute It is not like he is 100% superb every time plays (he isn`t) but yesterday he was untouchable I 100% agree. Are you saying that we are not allowed to ask any question that cast any doubt?
  6. Player unhappy not to be starting, must be a first...
  7. He was nigh on unplayable against Saints, but I have a questions, and not about his ability and all round loveliness. Despite the calls for him to start, :- Is he better coming off the bench for now? Is he better as a shorter duration player, as we have seen his head drop when he gets frustrated? Are people anticipating him playing as he did yesterday for 90 minutes? Again, I am not having a go as he is a fantastic player who will only get better. We might be not know until we try him from the get go
  8. Would rather have a new DoF, move Rudkin sideways or even up to Executive level, but put an experienced DoF in place, replacing the ownership is not a guarantee of anything.
  9. You sure about that?
  10. He changed it in game, correctly, not sure how that is not learning. It was clear why he did not start Winks as it had previously worked with Skipp, it was not versus Saints so he changed it. The Fatawu thing needs to change after the last game but at least he got more than 5 minutes this time, and to devastating effect!
  11. Agree that giving the pull back on Vardy from Fraser but not giving the pull from Ayew must make Saints fans cry conspiracy. Would Onauchu have got to it? Not certain, but he would have competed.
  12. Some people lack the capability to see past their own entrenched positions.
  13. Think with Enzo, we were structurally tight, he was so rigorous in his preparation that. everybody knew what to do for each situation, such that we appeared almost robotic at times and some did not like the rigid nature of his style, but with Cooper he is just seems nowhere near as detail orientated and like he expects players to be able to cope in any situation and this is probably because he is not so tactically capable as Enzo, and this means we look less in control, less like we know what we are doing. Not going to lie, Enzo’s style was easier on the heart and felt more likely for successes to be sustainable, but we need to acknowledge that his success is why he is no longer here and that it existed with this squad in a poorer division, but Cooper is more balls-to-the-wall, and these differences in style are illustrated in personal fan acceptance/rejection of the manager. Would certainly rather be more in control in games, but I also cannot dispute that our current points haul is not decent compared to pre-season expectations, and don’t feel the need to factor in the lack of a points deduction as the very fact that existed likely had a bearing on Cooper being here in the first place.
  14. Need the Presser to have the gathered press ask quiz him more about the starting of Fatawu, Ricardo, etc
  15. You thrive on what?
  16. That in no way relates to what I said, as I was referring to expectations and the position we find ourselves in.
  17. As much as I understand and share the sentiment, how is this sensible when most expected us to struggle this season, but now we are suddenly in a decent position. its terribly confusing.
  18. That would be terribly non attacking, as neither Skipp nor Winks are particularly attack minded. At least Wilf finds himself in the box on occasion.
  19. If Fatawu had come on and played like Mav, which he has before, this thread could have been so very much hotter!
  20. Surely he learns that Fatawu is a problem for the opposition when he plays like today, and JJ is a problem for us when he plays like today!
  21. This team spirit was absolutely not on show during those later Brendan times. However, Cooper needs to learn that some players he has been insistent on leaving out need to come into the starting XI, and also learn that subbing off players not performing well is a good thing.
  22. It’s team game, everybody plays their part, even Cooper
  23. If he keeps us up, could not give a toss
  24. well yes, I am entertained
  25. Thought I could see why Fatawu was not starting , but Christ I have had a mare, Fatawu is so direct and scary.
