Would hope that is not the case, but more that a plan was presented on how we modernise the structures within the club and in this process he will have his part to play.

Sunak to channel his inner Mike Basset in Saints dressing room at half time?

I do hope this happens, it would trigger a GE instantly.

Would better if Sam Morsy randomly wandered onto the pitch, it hit his ass, then hit Lief Davis’s chin who arrived to escort Morsy back off the pitch ending up dribbling between Meslier’s legs and into the Leeds goal. Could happen.

Premier league clubs to vote on scrapping VAR

Some things are blank and white, some are not. Black and white decisions can and should be automated, those that are not remain with the officials. Maybe a third type related to disciplinary issues that can be applied after the fact/match. -
Man Utd fan reminiscing about old battles with Leeds. You risk your relevance Crafton, and no you cannot wield the “speaking as a fan” shtick as you have made yourself a commentator first and foremost by working as a football journalist.

Ok, yes buy him, he will only get better and be worth more with more games. (For @Ryy and @MPH - are we adding a million each post or doubling?just so I am clear on this tactic).

My mate ChatGPT’s the ref -
Would there be a lot in this? After helping out with wages? Third choice keepers basically never get to play, so it might be almost no difference to grudgingly let Ward see his contract out. edit maybe if we are picking up a free with low wages.

I just knew it was to early to get my hilarious Paireirra tattoo -
Nigeria rag linking him with Barcelona and as much as Barca love a contract free guy, a bridge too far Wilfred I fear.

Sammie Szmodics - Detailed stats | Transfermarkt 100% NO - these stats look average at best excluding last year, and at this age with such low consistency, its a massive gamble and one we cannot afford

Based on that, I would buy him and play them together for a season to complement Edwards progression!

So I asked ChatGPT can you suggest a play leicester city should buy to replace jannik vestergaard? and I got To replace Jannik Vestergaard, Leicester City should consider a center-back who is both defensively solid and comfortable with the ball. Here are a few options: Edmond Tapsoba (Bayer Leverkusen): Tapsoba is a highly-rated defender known for his athleticism and defensive capabilities. He has been a key player for Leverkusen under Xabi Alonso, demonstrating significant improvement and consistency (90min.com). Gleison Bremer (Juventus): Bremer has been outstanding in Serie A, known for his strong defensive skills and ability to contribute to his team’s buildup play. He has been a standout performer for Juventus, and his style would suit the Premier League well (Squawka) (SPORTbible). Ronald Araujo (Barcelona): Araujo is versatile, having played both as a center-back and right-back for Barcelona. He is strong, quick, and excellent in one-on-one situations, making him a robust addition to any defense (SPORTbible). Alessandro Bastoni (Inter Milan): Bastoni is one of the most promising young defenders in Europe. He combines solid defensive skills with the ability to play out from the back, making him an ideal candidate for a team looking to build from the defense (SPORTbible). Each of these players offers a blend of defensive solidity and technical ability that would enhance Leicester City's backline. I clearly should have asked could and not should

If we think Ronnie Edwards is of a comparable quality and would not deteriorate our play, then yes I agree it would be at least worth considering, and if I am on honest I do not know if Edwards is of the same quality. Also agree that ball playing centre back are not as uncommon as once they were and it might be that Edwards also fills the gaps in Jannik's skill set
-
Do you agree he has been good this year? he has been integral to how we played this year? he has a skill set different to all other defenders we have with his defensive pivot capability? Some skills are worse, some skills are better. Think these are the pertinent questions, not individual low hanging fruit criticisms, as his skills would be extremely difficult to replace without breaking the bank, which we clearly are not in a position to do.

We cannot control this and its not unique to any specific player, so why stress? So lose Jannik, save on his wages, buy 1xCBs better than him for 20m and trust in Nelson? Is this your suggestion? Not sure I understood. -

Yeah just replace him with the same quarterback output for 3.6m a year + transfer fee, that seems easily achievable -

I meant a more defined, less dynamic at RB, or maybe Enzo will go fully mental and having RB and LB as dropping into midfield ...? -
Soyuncu then, he is free and highly rated from his Atletico days

So why begin by deconstructing what was the most talented side in the qualifying division? -
It could well be, but both manager and player probably deserve the chance to cock it up. This and coupled with the fact we have many to replace, it might mean our hand is forced slightly because replacing what Jannik brought in the championship with a whole new player would be crazy expensive. Also those suggesting Nelson is just ridiculous as he is not yet capable of playing this "quarterback/pivot" role that was so important to this system.
