Think this sums up lots of folks, me included, as he can be quality, he can be the best finisher, just as he can be wildly ineffectual, and this season has been disappointing for Kel
I regrettably tend to agree with the very last sentence.
Because they are PL quality with PL quality coaching I assume
I noted yesterday that what I was listening to commented on hoe under appreciated the jump in fitness is once you to PL level, so maybe this to?
Whilst we embed the system I think yes we should, I understand it was terrifying at times, but we have to learn to play this system under varying degrees of pressure/opponent.
We all hope he comes good, was personally certain he would excel, but we cannot keep a spot for him on expectation alone, and to be honest he has looked much lesser than others in this system - coupled to this he is approaching the end of contract, its time to give time to others.
Can you give some reason for this opinion? Nothing we have seen from Kel in this new system suggests this is true unfortunately. (I was sure he would excel in it)
Why does he get more time? He has had lots of starts, everyone else seems to be getting on with it.
Is he just one dimensional?
Don`t expect him to be rewarded for not giving 100% and if cannot play in this system, when so many have embraced it and improved, then that is on him. sorry Kel, but the bench beckons
Was nothing but practice really, never like losing to Liverpool (or anyone) but this didn’t really hurt, and pleased the style was again reinforced and I think Akgun has something about him.
Don`t disagree, but is being better than everyone else in a relegation team much to celebrate? Perhaps it is, but personally think everyone of that team shares the blame and being better than the rest provides no way to escape for their part in that.
People don`t tend to make it to the top of such institutions without significant self interest being a guiding principle, thus is it is so with those at the top of the FA or other governing bodies.
He is right, we are all complicit though, even them to a lesser degree. As soon as the top levels of football became entertainment, once it became glamour, there was only one direction of travel.
