I do wish the club would take this into account when they pick the sponsor. There's no way the dodgy deal to pump a little bit more into the club is worth the further disconnect it causes. When you're displaying a company everywhere around your club then it becomes a partnership and all those big moments your club has are shared with that company. It's not worth dismissing all that for a few hundred extra grand.

They were in a situation where they'd already pissed Enzo off so much by basically lying to him about the PSR situation. So when that summer hit they instantly extended his contract on the demands of Enzo. He then of course left and that great sporting alignment appoint a manager who doesn't have any kind of alignment with Enzo. Glad to see we have learned our lesson finally though by not trying to get a manager we can't afford and feed him with signings beyond our means to make it look to him like we are all fine 👀

Some of what he said on BSLB held some weight but a lot was whataboutery.
