He'd have like 2 goals in our side. We don't create enough
-
Respect to everyone who did yesterday's protest. We need to keep at it.
-
My god it's grim isn't it
-
@RedSoxUK messaged me saying he's confident about today's game but he hasn't had sex since Take That first split up
-
Definitely this. No one defending him is claiming he's going to suddenly start ripping it up, but it's not like he's missing 10 chances a game. Stoke was the first time in years I can remember us putting balls down the channel for a striker, and he was a lot more in the game. Certainly helps the other players to free up movement. Again, this isn't me saying he shouldn't leave or shouldn't be criticised. His time is clearly up here, but I'd persist with him until the end of the season. I think when he leaves us he will have a much better time. It just hasn't worked for a number of reasons. And a lot of them reasons certainly aren't on him.

The reprieve Cooper gets by the next two just being a bag of shit is quite an unbelievable level of revisionism even for our fanbase. Then there's the Red scum who can't compute that the only reason they have ****ing tifos of him sharing space with Brian Clough is because their last 40 years of history are so pitiful. They lost their minds that we could dare to sack him.

The last point is spot on. The greed of the Super League ignored what got the product to where it is now.
-
Everyone misspelling Rowett is like how everyone put Woods for Wood.

I think the King Power FC supporters make the link between recklessly spending over 100% of turnover on wages to ambition. We have only allowed all this because of the success that came before. You can't possibly run a club this badly and not have riots, unless you have created almost a cult following for the owner. Really hope I'm wrong but everything points towards us being a Premier League Champions to extinction Documentary.
-
Yeah I think if anything Top has hid behind PSR as an excuse as the King Power profits ran out. We never really went for it with signings how they would lead you to believe. Things fell perfect for us for a few years with Newcastle and Villa going through the shit. But that's not to say we couldn't have capitalised big time. Just a shame Top puts the success down to Rudkin and so many of our fans were brainwashed into following King Power instead of their club.
-
With PSR, it's like the big clubs seen it as the opportunity to keep themselves established at the top because there's no way a team like Manchester United could mishandle a spending a Billion and finish below Brighton and Bournemouth right? The fact those kind of clubs can compete by being smart leads to clubs like Newcastle coming out crying there's an unfair ceiling put on them when they could be out spending what they like. It does at least stop Man City and Newcastle running away with it, but it was absolutely agreed to to keep clubs like us from establishing ourselves in the top 6. That's in no way to excuse the fact we absolutely blown our chance to establish ourselves as a Premier League club, in a time it was becoming almost a closed shop even for teams much worse than us. The fact we managed to fall so quickly is absolutely on Top and Rudkin and they can't use the "daring to dream" bullshit for their ineptitude.
-
"Rowett" is quickly becoming the new Chris Woods isn't it
-
That fax machine again
-
Top and Rudkin want you to believe this. But in reality we have eventually been given 6 points for years of the most amateur example of management of a Professional Football Club you will ever find.
-
I wonder how they felt for the last 12 or so games knowing we were well adrift and taking the hit then would have been better for everyone.
-
So maybe I'm understanding this wrong but - We kept hold of KDH and spent a big wedge on Winks transfer and wage, Coady transfer and wage, Hermansen etc etc. with the knowledge we'd fail PSR and butter up Enzo by fulfilling the promise of new signings. With the theory that getting straight back up and then worrying about the charge was the best course of action. In doing so we then thought it best to sell our best player KDH to show compliance and get pure profit with the theory that getting El Khannous, Skipp and Buananotte would give us a better chance than just having KDH. We then thought fighting the points deduction instead of taking it on the Premier League would give us best chance. We now got the deduction this season and it's led to us staring down the barrell of League One. You can see why the idiots at the club are so hated can't you?
-
Much better from him last night although he looks like a lot of modern centre backs where his ability on the ball in teams that have it far more will cover up his defensive frailties. You see it with a lot of "top" defenders when they suddenly have to defend most the game. For example, I still think if Maguire went Man City he'd be spoken about in completely different terms because we'd have seen so much of his on the ball stuff. Nelson suits the modern game, but he has a hell of a lot to prove with the defensive side of his game.
-
What annoys me is seeing certain halves like Derby and Coventry and we aren't just good but we have way too much for any team at this level. To know it's the basics like effort that haven't been there are what makes this the most unlikeable team in my lifetime. We are however easily one of the worst without the ball and I think the next ten games will prove whether that was down to coaching or they're just ****ing shit.
-
Some of the teams above us play each other over the course of them games so even if all 6 of them win every game between now and then, us winning our games would take us out the bottom three. It's absolutely in our own hands, as Clapham Fox suggested.
-
I really like him
-
Like a lot of them, when we have the ball he often looks absolutely fine. He gets forward and puts in good crosses. He looks like a decent old fashioned full back. When he has to defend and we are under pressure though, I honestly think one of us off here would defend as well as he does.
-
Are they guaranteed for a League One team paying back money they have already spent to pay the wage bill they can't afford the year before?
-
What annoyed me is the subsequent a years after. It become such a lazy analysis for years that when Vardy didn't have space in behind he doesn't score and when he does, he does. No one even bothered updating their punditry notes on us for a decade.
-
We didn't try and play the same way the next season and we didn't have Kante. Ranieri completely and utterly lost the plot and despite the bullshit about him not deserving the sack, he absolutely did.
