  1. Realise this is hardly a pressing concern but just listened back to Radio Leicester post match analysis and I hate how Owynn has started doing that bullshit all beeb local commentators are told to be so unbiased that they start to sound more much excited when the opposition score. Combine that with Fryatt, who was hardly blessed with a voice for radio, then it's a ****ing hard listen. Especially after a game like that.
  2. Not having players overlap in systems like this isn't innovative. It's just making us ****ing predictable. So much time spent on trying to make us defensively sound yet anyone runs at us and we fold. It's why you need at least some pragmatism from a manager. But sticking to one philosophy for Kompany got him a reward at Bayern despite relegation. Heading for being the worst Premier League team ever and maintaining the same philosophy got Martin Rangers. We are rewarding failure in football now. Making it worse to watch. It's quite sad.
  3. Amazes me that he gets loans like Sevilla and linked to AC Milan but can look so off the pace against Hull City. Just shows how much having good players around you can make you look better than you are. That's probably why so many of our lot didn't want to play at this level. It's shown them for what they are.
  4. I think even if he does keep them up they'll get rid and go for Silva. He is going to morph into the Sam Allardyce firefighter stereotype. If he hasn't already. Don't think it's a given he keeps them up with the state they are in. Having said that, I think he was kind of manager we needed when everyone turned their noses up at him. This squad requires the man management that a manger like Dyche brings.
  5. We don't play a system thats creating any chances for any striker. Throw Evans in to this and his confidence will be shot. Daka has been off it for some time but I genuinely don't see what he's supposed to do last night.
  6. If anyone's playing against us I don't want to see us rolling out the red carpet for them. I can accept booing Gray more than clapping Maddison for every corner he takes against us or singing Nugents song when he comes on against us. I think we booed Kante during game and clapped him after. Don't mind that. Anyone who's gone is gone. They didn't think about us when they left and we shouldn't think about them after. Not while they're playing us.
  7. Swapping Vestegaard for Nelson is the new swapping the Family Stand with the Kop
  8. Agree with you but I think that still happens last night with Ndidi next to Winks
  9. That happened quite a few times last night?
  10. I don't understand the stick Ayew gets? Another one where he holds it up well and brings players into play. Finds other chances, including the goal. He has his shortcomings but ****ing hell, there's a lot more problems in this team than him.
  11. Plenty defend Caroline Flack
  12. I don't think it was just that. We shown we can come out and make chances against a team sitting far back. We haven't always shown that at times. Like I said I'm just trying to look for positives. I don't think it's time for a meltdown.
  13. Not making excuses for them because a lot of you said you thought we'd lose and we did. But we gave ourselves too much to do with a poor start. We were vastly superior in the second half. We played some really good stuff. There's a team in there. It's not a lost cause. It's just unforgivable to have some of the traits they have. You can't be half arsed at any level and expect to win.
  14. Least Carranza has been on the ****ing pitch a bit
  15. The worst thing is we completely dominate the periods of the game and show we are capable. The tactics from the off were poor. The selector was poor. It's all on the manager this.
  16. Well technically you always choose
  17. Enjoying it that much you're finding time to post on an internet forum about the topic you don't give a shit about.
  18. I'm amazed some of you make it out the house in a morning
  19. The rot set in well before Rome by the way
  20. Everyone suggesting we get beat on here only means one thing Leicester win!
  21. This isn't the place for reasonable, well balanced assessments like this mate.
  22. Not saying he warranted it, I just can't believe he'd think about putting in a clause like that. Unless it was something like if the revenue becomes x amount he gets more money. I don't think Stringer has any bridges left to burn when it comes to the club. I always liked him but he was lucky his employers were happy to keep him as long as they did, given he fell out with all the playing squad he was supposed to give us an interview with.
  23. Seen a post by Ian Stringer saying when he met Milan again after our title win, he told him that earned him an extra Million. He had it in the deal that if we went on to win the Premier League he gets more money? Mad if so.
  24. Ward deserved everything he got and more. Faes has pushed for a move since pretty much the first season he got here. That hasn't got anything to do with the way academy players are treated by some fans. There needs to be a clear vision from the top down in any club. If that is to play academy players at the expense of the short term then you employ in positions above the manager to ensure this is carried out. You don't rely on a manager who has his own reputation to think about to put the clubs long term squad value at the heart of his decision making.
