  1. Faes is also by far our best defender. Can't stand the way football fans see mistakes at a higher level and correlate that to him playing at this level. Okay I'm as pissed off with him as anyone for his attitude, which is probably peoples main gripe with him, but I've learned to put up with that with modern footballers. Especially how low the bar is for us at the minute. There's a narrative on here that anyone that's academy needs to start but we need to bounce back as quick as we can. This fantasy world where we build for years at this level with Nelson, Page, Monga and Aluko just doesn't happen.
  2. Looking for 2 for this. Can meet at the screen beforehand
  3. Wow, fair ****ing play in that case. I expected like 500. I know they're well supported but the kick off time makes it horrendous for them. Puts rest of us to shame who are moaning about having to travel in from a bit further out of Leicestershire.
  4. Officially it will be around 25-27k but I reckon it will be more like 22/23k Timing of kick off, away team miles away. It's not really unexpected.
  5. Both are self indulgent ideas and show how far up their own arses footballers get. I get that it's a setback for them both but they need some ****ing perspective.
  6. I have no doubt we have a lot of fans here who revel in us losing and seeing others genuinely upset or angered. I have sat next to plenty like it at the ground too. Jeering players like Lloyd Dyer and Nacho and looking almost sad when they scored. It's such a weird mentality from some. Can only assume they don't have very good lives and turning up to see others unhappy is a hobby for them.
  7. @Ric Flair
  8. I don't see any evidence any team are better than us in this division. When we get going I think we will get 90+. Just need the deduction to be 4-6 points and it's HMS PISS THE LEAGUE GIMME A BEEP BEEP
  9. @Raj would need about 3 pages to answer this
  10. This would be a very fitting name for his podcast
  11. He was looking for somewhere to stay for £700 or lower on a Leicester flat page last time I seen his name pop up
  12. He made a big squad that was far too good for that level feel much smaller than it was and by the end his one dimensional philosophy was found out. All the games we won towards the end had naff all to do with how he wanted to play.
  13. The squad should have done much better than that points total.
  14. Don't disagree with you but if we have lost someone that never had a day anyway then it's no loss
  15. You didn't?
  16. Oh yeah she was doing a great job of stopping it before she left wasn't she?
  17. How many football songs in general are actually good? Most chants are monotone ****ing nursery rhymes. You'll never walk alone is considered the best and that's a dreary piece of shit
  18. Yeah no doubt we still have a ripple effect from the years of the Premier League and Europe. We will average 30,000+ quite easily which we never used to get anywhere near 2005-2013 so we have come a long way. What gets me though is we should have been taking advantage of the demand with the expansion and progressing on the pitch. Should be talking about 40,000 down there now and challenging in the top half of the Premier League. Not clinging on to it a bit in the hope we don't have empty seats for Oxford.
  19. I reckon people are more taking aim at Jersey Budd for being a pub standard artist rather than the song itself. I think he nailed it for what he was trying to achieve.
  20. The pricing when we first got relegated was so arrogant. They were still riding off the demand from the glory years and thought they could charge what they want because those fans will stick around no matter what. Most of us don't forget where we have come from. Being able to walk up on match day and buy from a 5 foot bloke behind stained glass wasn't that long ago. When you can remember those days so vividly it really grates with you how they could still be so arrogant about the way they price things. They have learned their lesson a bit this time but there's still some bizarre decisions like the Wrexham category A.
  21. I love it and I think we're probably the only fanbase who would have fans trash our own song.
  22. Suppose it depends if, knowing your job carries the reputation it does in the public eye, you have characteristics like morality and self respect. If what you're all saying is true then she clearly didn't give a shit because she's approaching retirement and doesn't care what job she gets next, if any. But yet again, that just means she was another part of a big problem. Absolutely no one is absolving Rudkin or Top of blame believe me.
  23. Fantastic. More wine?
  24. Finalwhistle lad, past and present members of Leicester fan TV and Jim as club representative.
  25. I'd love to know the thinking behind it. He is one of the only players at the club we genuinely like, okay. He's had a big injury, okay. It's not like the film could even have some grand finish. What does it end with? Him scoring against *checks notes* Birmingham at home on a Friday night? It really is another reminder how quickly we have fallen. It reminds me of us idolising Iain Hume or Joey Guðjónsson in the dark years.
