  1. Don't see what his house has to do with anything
  2. Doesn't Page being played prove that isn't the case?
  3. I'm joking mate. Who knows what goes through Susan Whelan's head after a Vol-au-vent and House Red
  4. Category C, and don't call me Shirley
  5. What are you? The thread police or somert?
  6. I feel like they only start to categorise fixtures properly when there's less than 30,000 turning up. Unless it's an absolute stinker like Oxford. That said I don't know if the club has ever classed Coventry the same as Forest and Derby in regards to ticket prices.
  7. Yeah sometimes a club can progress quicker than the player. He won't be ready for Premier League and it'll be another season out somewhere else.
  8. I feel like Louis Page's advisors getting him to turn down the deal the contract offer has probably had a big impact on them giving him game time to try and keep him. Which has in turn meant Alves gets loaned out. Might not be a bad thing for him but if he carries on like this and we still don't play him next season he should tell us to do one.
  9. Bet there's a few if his signed shirt framed for £400 knocking around in the bowls of the King Power
  10. The Morgan one needs printing on everything. Id stick it everywhere
  11. Well Shakespeare is as well regarded as Pearson and Ranieri for what he did as no.2 Micky Adams deserves massive credit for getting us promoted in the administration season.
  12. Good way of wording it. I will steal that for future pub debates.
  13. When you hear Milan was making Holloway play players like N'Gotty against his will it adds a bit of balance to what he was up against. That was another completely avoidable relegation. What a mess of a season. I can't see him ringing up Pearson the season's after and demanding the same. Maybe he learned his lesson. Then let him go so Vichai and Top could have the "world renowned" Sousa.
  14. For what they did to the club it will always (hopefully) be Taylor. But there's absolutely no doubt that 12-18 months under Rodgers were the only time I've seen a manager actively put themselves above anything/anyone at the club in order to preserve their own reputation. So for that period I'd argue he was even more catastrophic to what we had built. He's obviously saved from any conversation like this for what he did before that though.
  15. Their contributions are bigger than anyone else in their positions for us. So yes.
  16. Arguably only that position and Drinkwater then. Id say Simpson is a better defender than Ricardo. Certainly that season he was. Ricardo is obviously better going forward but Simpson wasn't ever that kind of player. Which is why these debates are always quite futile.
  17. It's almost like some of the older lot are a bit gutted they can't just harp back to the best ever teams that never won anything. In reality its the title XI minus Drinkwater out for Izzet.
  18. I was thinking earlier, has there ever been a Cliff that turned out to be a good person?
  19. My father only ever gave me two bits of advice. Never wear a condom, and never wear another teams football shirt.
  20. Well depends which way you walk
  21. This reminds me of when Sky Sports News were using Football Manager stats when a player signed for a new club. I still can't believe they did that.
  22. Agree with this but why be the way he is with the fans? Even if he's read a few comments on here, it hardly represents the whole fanbase does it? The ones who travel up and down the country to support the team. I think that's when everyone lost it with him, even after all the events of last season.
