  1. Don't really like Dawson's comments about only Man United being a game we haven't scored in so that side of our game is fine. Anyone who's watched us knows that it isn't fine. This idea that all we need to do is sure up the defence and we will be fine is a bit of a myth. We have relied on individual bits of class but it was painfully obvious that wasn't going to happen every week with this team. Especially not against better opposition. The whole tactical set up needs a huge change. Ruuuuuuuud
  2. You're giving them way too much credit for thinking this far in advance and having a plan.
  3. Strange that Martin doesn't say this about Forest. Surely they have had a much worse sense of entitlement seen as they haven't won anything of note for 40 years.
  4. Can I just point out @RedSoxUK is my long time adversary. He's to me what the blue car was to Mr Bean.
  5. If you look in the Gary Lineker thread about him leaving, I was extremely complimentary about our hero and said he was the best presenter there is. This doesn't change that he is often out of touch regarding the club and actually quite condescending about us at times.
  6. Lineker is quite out of touch with Leicester really. He used to be a lot worse for it when we were out of the Premier League. Just take something like suggesting Emma Hayes for our manager and saying she would help us sell our season tickets. Months after we'd sold them out for the 10th year running and there being thousands on a waiting list anyway. When you're club ambassador or whatever he is, it's quite poor.
  7. There's been an attitude that we should just accept any shit we get because we've won more than any club our size ever will again. Been there since Ranieri sacking and I don't think it will ever go now. We're just known as entitled for wanting things like effort, or players that don't drink drive.
  8. This is the absolute worst case scenario. Even though it's come after the title and FA Cup win, we will be smeared with cheating accusations in the same way Man City are. There's no other explanation as to why they'd pick this sponsor. You'd expect it from one of the 30 vape shops on the streets of Leicester. Not the football club ffs. Does anyone from the Premier League do checks too? This isn't a great look for anybody.
  9. The problem with punditry has always been the complete lack of knowledge on any other clubs outside the big 6. He'll have only watched us when we play the likes of Chelsea and we should get beat anyway. Then they look at the league table and go purely off our points. Don't bother to delve any deeper or look at what could be the issues. Then get paid to talk about us. It's a great life.
  10. You can't underestimate how much our dressing room needs someone of his stature. We got it with Rodgers when he come in at a time when it was even more needed with the likes of Kasper and Morgan still here dictating so much. Even though Cooper had done more as a coach, there's not a chance he has the potential to command the respect Ruud does.
  11. So in terms of holding the club to any kind of account on this, will anyone be able to ask the question what this due diligence entailed? Or will we get a statement from Foxestrust, who will be blanked by the club and then a handpicked Q&A in the distant future will be fronted by Jim from the club shop, and none of us will be allowed to ask anything about this?
  12. Honestly if no one leaves the club as a result of this then you really have to prepare yourselves for years of the same. Everything we complain about now in terms of the rot will just be exactly the same. Even with new managers like Enzo or Ruud giving us hope, this will always be lingering. Let's face it on Foxestalk we aren't always blessed with accuracy or amazing insight but more or less every single one of us called this. We didn't even think it was quite as bad as this. It's so so bad. We are a Premier League football club! Who did these checks?
  13. How strange was it by the FA to not even give him an interview by the way? Considering they come out and said they interviewed 3 English candidates too. Means they must have been speaking to Lampard and Gerrard instead? I agree though, in terms of his reputation he really needed to bounce back quite quickly. The package he got when leaving Chelsea was probably the best in managerial history but it might be at the cost of his career at a good level now.
  14. You missed out Megson. Any of us that lived through Mandaric see stints like Cooper's as long term.
  15. There's so many players that you could say are better than players we had in that title winning team but none any I'd replace them for. On the other players - people always let what they think of Rooney as a person dictate their feeling towards him as a player. If you hate him then you'll draw upon every stat you can to disprove his ability. He was the best English player I've seen. His ability early on was scary. Kane is the best finisher we have ever had. Vardy can't really be compared to anyone. He's our best player ever. He is that because of the circumstances we got him and everything falling into place perfectly. Leave the comparisons to shit like Talksport.
  16. The beauty of that chant is even when our fans are all singing out of sync and at different tempos, it will still sound like it should.
  17. @RedSoxUK has never been the most reliable of members
  18. Alright to come in for 10 games and do a shit job and get paid for 3 years isn't it?
  19. How does this stuff work anyway? If this was true then how are the club going to be happy that Percy just leaks it all to us? And if it isn't then they'll blacklist him. Wasn't there a story that he had a lot less contacts at the club in recent years because he'd pissed people off?
  20. Not saying that, but there's definitely seems to be more of the opinions on here being reflected in how the club are operating based off this. We know there's been a big thing made out alienating the fans. There couldn't have been less of a reflection of the fanbase's feelings in how they've operated for the last few years.
  21. It's probably to emphasise how much shit the club are in financially and it's them last thing he wanted to have to do.
  22. Definitely seems to be more and more correlation to what's said on Foxestalk and the club reacting these days. Not saying someone from the club is sat on here all day but they must have their eyes on here a bit. Cooper out thread and the reaction to Copenhagen video.
  23. How much can we believe these stories that emerge these days? There's a lot that's come out in terms of the hierarchy going into the dressing room. It comes to something when my Mum's ringing me saying Winks said the tactics are a ****ing disgrace! I knew she hadn't got that from a post match interview. It's hilarious Top is only just waking up to the attitudes that have been so evident of our players since we moved to Seagrave. I've said it before but when we won the league and FA Cup we used to laugh at all the other clubs for all this kind of shit and we've become every single other club now. So sad.
  24. I'm a bit in two minds over this. The other way of looking at it is former players like Lampard and Gerrard got jobs way too big and by 48 are all but finished.
