  1. We more or less did this every time we sacked anyone for 20 years 😂
  2. I like Ayew a lot but nothing about him is a lone striker. He'd have been fine as a 10 today but not a main man. The amount of times Fatawu or Buano would get past a few players and look up and have nothing to aim at. Then for us to be happy to play that way until 70 ****ing minutes gone. It really is astonishing. And why would you make subs and then a sub again on 85 unless you were defending a lead and wanting to kill time? You'd just make the ****ing subs you need to on 65-70 and have a go! It just looks absolutely desperate and clueless Tried my absolute best with Cooper but it's hard for anyone to make a case for him now. I went today still expecting something from us because I always do, but for it to just play out exactly as we all feared again is absolutely ****ing demoralising.
  3. The tossers behind me turning on each other earlier were an embarrassment. Little kid with him and he was that off his tits that all he was bothered about was starting on an old man behind him. Kid walked off in tears and he acted as if it was all the fault of the people behind. You could maybe excuse it a bit for younger lads but 40+ year old men getting that off their faces and starting fights? Not the first time I've seen it with our fans either. I don't get what's going on at the minute.
  4. You're right in what you say but surely the club looks at more than just points tally. Obviously we'd all have taken 15th and 10 points at this stage but there's a difference between having 10 points you have deserved with great performances and having 10 points after facing 200 shots, having a goalkeeper saving us about 9 goals on xG and almost no identity or plan in how we play. All of that leaves him very close to the sack, regardless of how many points we have mustered. It does give him a cushion to work with and find his feet with that identity. But he needs to do it quick.
  5. Well that's more of a case of knowing you're not wanted. Leeds told Kasper he'd be made to rot if he didn't leave. You can still turn down a contract. Vestegaard had chance to join Fulham and decided he'd rather sit on 70k a week or whatever it is. The club made it pretty clear to him they wanted him gone.
  6. Even Smithies got a reveal video didn't he? I think it's more to do with where the club are at regarding signings and they think we'll just lap up any old shit.
  7. It is and whilst I get that you can maybe make a bit better food when you don't have as many people to rush it out to, there's been absolutely no excuse for the way bigger clubs see only profit. They serve up the absolute worst they can get away with for the biggest price they can get away with and we keep letting them get away with it.
  8. The team shouldn't have been relying on fine margins. We had become everything we used to scoff at the rest of the Premier League for being. It's only us that feel the pain but not one person at the club that year deserved to avoid the punishment that their attitudes deserved. Petulance, arrogance, laziness, ineptitude. It sits alongside the greatest achievement in the Premier League as easily one of, if not the, worst.
  9. Why's it so bad for us though when even Championship Leeds get Originals range. What did we do so wrong?
  10. Wish they'd stop putting just Leicester on BBC and Sky every time our u21s play a match. Had 2 messages tonight laughing at me cos we are losing to Northampton.
  11. Rule 1 of Foxestalk - don't try and reason with anyone on Foxestalk
  12. I think this role was designed for me to be honest. I should be on the next ballot paper such is my incredible reputation amongst my fellow supporters. Those in agreement say aye
  13. Yeah cos Forest, Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds found it a stroll in the park didn't they?
  14. Let's see what they win
  15. I wonder what credentials you need to have ideas for club merchandise?
  16. Our fans are good at this. West Stand flask drinkers in particular mastered the art of only being vocal when the likes of Carl Court and Trevor Benjamin would enter proceedings.
  17. Wasilewski just ordered one
  18. Bit off topic but Football Manager has this Fulham Brentford as a fierce rivalry? I've had more fierce arguements with my neighbour about the fence.
  19. It's quite mad how delusional and biased football fans can be isn't it? Wtf are them unwashed farmers and the kid talking about at the end of that video? You'd think they were done by the hand of god watching that. Cheer up lads.
  20. A 3000 word scout report on Soumare? God and I thought the essay I did on global warming in GCSE English was a waste of time
  21. Could it have been a penalty? Yes. But I have seen a hell of a lot more controversial ones this season. It's a subjective one and I certainly don't think it's as stone wall as is being made out. It doesn't excuse Phillips blatantly deserving his second yellow. Bit like if you don't defend after a poor decision, you can't really blame what's come before. They can't be blaming everything else but themselves. I'm not just saying that because it's Ipswich, it's a criticism of us and especially Cooper too this season. This victimhood mentality gets you nothing but relegation.
  22. Those talking about the fee just haven't adjusted their mindset to 2024 transfer fees. Good post above comparing it to 1m signings from back in the day. It's exactly like that. 4 points (that he has won us now) is absolutely huge for our survival hopes. It's quite obvious he has already proved his worth and will continue to.
