Yes, family stand
-
Said that at the time watching directly behind that in the family stand, firstly the attacker knocked the ball a couple of yards in front of himself,at that point he should have slid in to grab the ball or have been at worst able to block the cross/shot before it got to Saka, instead he just stayed routed to the spot & seem to make himself as small as possible. Shocking.

Agree, we'd have been better with Albrighton playing instead today, at least he would have tracked back & got a foot in.

Yes, if you're going with someone who has a smartphone, you get the email link sent to them & then download it to one phone, like I've done for me & my lad. But if you're going alone like my dad you have no choice to get a paper ticket if you've not got a smartphone. -

My dad doesn't have a smart phone, he rang the ticket office, they're going to post them to him. -
His house has been sold, I know this doesn't necessarily mean he's leaving the club.

Yes, definitely started before the ball actually went in.

Thought fawn might be Geri Halliwell.

Agree completely, they all seemed 2 or 3 inches taller & built like brick outhouses, it was literally like watching men against boys.

Don't know whether some people just genuinely didn't get the idea, but loads in Family stand were just walking out with them. Bloke on the stairs in front of me on the way out, went half way down the empty row of seats to pick one up. Maybe having to sit through that rubbish people might have thought they earn't the right to nick a flag.

Had a major problem with sending stuff back via Evri. Twice the same thing happened. Returned it to my local shop they gave me the ticket with the reference number on. I went to track it as I hadn't received my refund. Kept saying my reference number was invalid, went to the shop they assured me it had been picked up. Tried Evri customer care, it's automated so kept asking for reference number which according to them was invalid, no option to speak to someone . So after going round in circles I gave up, emailed them , no reply. Items just seemed to have disappeared of the face of the earth. Fortunately the items were being returned to Amazon, who I find are great with customer care, so having explained to them what had happened did give me refunds. Needless to say I've not used the local shop since.

MK Dons v Leicester - 20th December 19:45

i think the problem is more Royal Mail's fault than the clubs, there was a walk in our office that went out yesterday for the first time in over a week, & it'll take probably 3 days to clear it . Now there's 2 more days of strikes, tomorrow & Thursday. The letters just left in boxes under the frame. That's probably the worst case & not all walks are that bad, but packets are priority to Royal Mail, they don't care about letters. So in this case I wouldn't put to much blame at the club's door. Saying that, I got my ticket on the 10th, it was posted on the 8th. Just luck really, depends what walks they decide to leave in. -

It's quite likely you did get a week's post in one. Our office is full of walks were the mail hasn't gone out for days, Royal Mail is not bothered about letters, all they are concerned about are packets. They tell us to leave the mail & just take packets. Because of their refusal to now pay overtime we haven't got enough time within our duty time to complete the work. So just a warning to anyone waiting for letters or wanting to post them, allow a few extra days this Christmas. -
I find it's a bit of a generation thing. I'm a postman & 2 years ago, me & my 2 colleagues, who covered 2 rounds between us on a rotation, got £2500 pounds and loads of goodies( wine ,chocolate etc.) , we had done these rounds for 6 or 7 years & got to know most of the people. This was in an area that had a good percentage of elderly people who had been there years. Last year i moved to a new round with part industrial estate & part new build, which meant a good proportion of the families are young with small kids, I got a box of chocolates & a fiver.

Our original fan was just a cheap £15 quid one & had been up a long while. The one we replaced it with was a Blauberg UK 100, which was about £50 from Amazon ( looks like it's on today for £47.40). Just make sure the one your'e replacing is the same size, you don't want to be chiesling the wall to make the hole bigger or buying too small & having to fill it in. I think most are standard 100mm , so your ducting should be 100mm to fit ( i think some are 125mm ). It was easy enough to replace just take a photo of the wiring on the one you're taking off & re-wire the new one the same ( I know you're suppose to get a qualified electrician these days, but my wife's great with the DIY). I'd definitely recommend painting the ceiling with the Ronseal anti-mould paint. Doing both these things seems to have cured it . Also stopping the kids from showering for 15 minutes at a time helps, it was like walking into a sauna after they've been in.With being on a water meter & the cost of everything these days I've told them too be quicker, which to be fair they have been.

Also one in Manchester yesterday evening at the MCR sports awards. I suspect that was probably the real one as Man City hold it. -
I had this problem, had extractor fan, dried the shower walls & screen with a Karcher window vac after every shower. The black mould would still build up, I would get some off with anti mould spray but about every 6 months I had to paint the ceiling to cover it. However in the summer I bought a more expensive fan & painted the ceiling with Ronseal anti mould paint , this suppose to have a 6 year guarantee & at about £18 for a tin, it wasn't cheap, but touchwood the mould hasn't reappeared. I still dry the shower with the Karcher & open the window after each shower.

Cricket (None Leicestershire County Cricket Club)

I think the one earlier in the over looked slightly higher, although that batsman was also a long way down the pitch. Think the umpire gave the second one because he didn't give the first one. Still think given the importance of the situation he should have asked for a side on replay. -

Very lucky to get that no-ball, remember that has to be above waist height in his normal batting stance , he came down the wicket a long way, by the time it had got to his original stance that could have easy been below waist height, can understand Pakistan being a bit aggrieved. Why didn't they look at a replay before giving the decision. Brilliant game though. -
Including last weekends fixtures & the 7 so far this week 23 goals in 17 game's, pretty poor really.

On the subject of parcels & deliverys. Working as a postie, Royal Mail has been doing the customer collect for a while now, so we get the address & turn up to get the parcel from the customer. They obviously need to print the returns label off & stick it to the parcel for us to scan, twice this week I've called for a parcel only to be given a box with no address on it. When asked were the label is, they said " i haven't got a printer" , so they were quite prepared to give me a box with no address on it . How on earth did they expect it get were it was meant to be going.
