  1. We are supposed to ring the bell, if there is one. If nobody answers put a card through saying we will try again the following day. Either that or just throw it over the gate 😄
  2. Especially those big bows that go across the door & are so tight you can't lift the letterbox. Probably placed by the same people who at Halloween put the 'danger do not enter ' banners over the entire door ensuring the letterbox is completely unaccessible & whose pumpkins are still rotting by the doorstep now.
  3. If the prices are the same, I wouldn't have thought they will be any charge. Possibly charge you an admin fee.
  4. Or you put the item half way through & just as you go to take the photo someone pulls in through from the other side ( or the dog grabs it ). This is all whilst trying to hold a bundle of mail. I'd love to see an album of my photos, most are of my feet.
  5. Indeed, my dad's life was saved by the response of the medical staff at the KP in December 2019. He was brought round with a defibrillator after his heart stopped just as the game was ending. The paramedics were just a few feet away & doctors later said if that had happened somewhere else, his chances of surviving would have been slim. He now has a mini defib fitted & is still going strong.
  6. I forwarded my son's U-22 ticket to my brother (adult) for the Wrexham game.Did it online easily enough, I just had to pay the difference which was £7.21
  7. I forwarded my son's under 22 ticket to an adult, did it online had to pay the difference (£7.79), pretty straightforward.
  8. Ausden Clark also run coaches, contact them & see if they have any spare seats.
  9. No Choudhury, not on bench either?
  10. My lads going to university too. But his season tickets have always been linked to my email address, so I have just downloaded his & mine to my phone, so when he doesn't go , I'll just take someone else with me. If you're son has his own email address that his ticket has gone to, it might be harder to download to your phone.
  11. Not according to the message on the email I received with my ticket download on. It says " kindly note that once you have added this ticket to your device, that you will not be able to download it to another".
  12. Yes, just scan one ticket & let you dad go through, then swipe your ticket & go in. This is the way most adults with kids go in, some have multiple tickets on one phone.
  13. Log in to your account, click on your profile in top right hand corner. Click on tickets then season tickets, should then give you the option to download.
  14. Have to agree, if they follow on & set us 120 -150, batting last on a deteriorating pitch it would be very nervy. Bat tomorrow, even if we only manage 150-200, can't see them getting 350-400 to win on a 4th day pitch, that seems to be turning already.
  15. I still squirm at the time I was doing my best to squeeze a packet through the letter box, admittedly it was a tight fit, only for the letter box to fall to pieces in my hand. The internal bit fell inside & I was left holding the flap & the outer part. I tried my best to repair it, but to no avail. I bumped into the owner the next & owned up ( I was tempted to say it happened on my day off). Good job I didn't, he said " I know it was you, we watched it on camera". Needless to say I now check before I start ramming packets through the box.
  16. Speaking as a postie, I find the ring doorbells really unreliable. If I have a choice of bells ( most people still leave the old one in place), I'll always try the old one first . I've lost track of the amount of times I ring the Ring doorbell & no one answers, but I know they're at home . As soon as I knock the door they answer. When they work properly they're good, as people can tell me were to leave parcels, but they do seem very hit & miss.
  17. Walker went for 6 an over playing for Ivanhoe against Rothley yesterday. He's not really county standard, but hope he proves me wrong.
  18. That finished a few years ago now. You now get Fox rewards credits every time you buy something, i think it's maybe 10% of the cost of the item goes towards your rewards, which you can spend on future purchases.
  19. Good effort, but seems a bit strange to play Walker, Salisbury & Scriven & then only bowl 4 overs between them, with Scriven not even getting a bowl. Surely could have played an extra batsman. They are probably going to need one.
  20. Speaking as a postman, the best method to send tickets etc.( apart from next day special delivery, which is expensive) is by tracked delivery, Royal Mail treats these as priority & are tracked all the way so it shows whereabouts in the system it is. It is fairly cheap in comparison to Special delivery. Recorded delivery only shows a signature on receipt, you've no idea where it is in the system , we don't see that many of them now. Royal Mail see tracked as the main product.
  21. I'm not 100% certain as it's a couple of years since I did it , but I think it's the adult price for the game.
  22. I presume you mean on a match by match basis. Yes, you do have to pay the difference each time you transfer it.
  23. In answer to your question about kids aging out in the family stand, they have to move out when they reach 18. My lad turns 18 before next season starts, we have relocated to SK2.
  24. Or even Kevin Macdonald.
  25. Yes, near the back. Must have been blocked by the roof, like you say.
