  1. We only need a point more than two of Ipswich, Wolves and Everton.. Whilst we are a win away from safety during this horrendous bad run, it ain't too bad. Edit, but answering the six wins question; It's the mid table shite you can pick points up against; Fulham at home, man U at home, Brentford at home, ....saints at home should be a gimme. Means we need a couple out of the bag,.like the appalling west ham away and a big relegation off v Ipswich Edit edit; the draws Everton, wolves, spurs, palace and maybe bum a big unexpected point like away at Newcastle again
  2. Great post.
  3. ....and just like a glorified corner shop at an airport selling toblerones managing to make billions. Millions maybe, at a push, but billions? It has never added up.
  4. Gets benefit of doubt for me. Someone identified Buonnotte and Bilal and Okoli (who might yet be a very shrewd signing) ....Skipp may well have been identified but not necessarily at 25m - that's not Glover's brief. Ayew and BdcR and Edward stink of agents, not talent identification.
  5. The faint hope we can cling on to is that Iraola lost his first six games I think, but the Bournemouth fans could see what he was trying to do. I've never fancied RvN from the off, but even I can admit we've looked organised/structured these last three games - even if teams selections and subs have been suspect
  6. Probs. But better now than April
  7. Partly agree. If ever a team was equipped to bridge that gap it was us. We went down with a PL squad. Came up with roughly a PL team. Then, we went and bought Eduardo, BdCr and paid X5 the amount of money for Ayew and Skipp when what we wanted was another Bilal, Abdul, Stephy, mads and to an extent an Okoli. And future proof ourselves a bit.
  8. Agree. Ward, Coady and Luke Thomas made 15 appearances or so versus zero last season. Vardy wasn't a regular last season, more or less ever present this season. BdcR and Ayew instead of Abdul. Skipp instead of KDH. Eduardo over Kels. It's been a disastrous season. Very very few teams go up, spend money to get significantly worse
  9. Well, I thought he was outstanding again today. Such a cool head. Such a clever player. Will be a huge loss if his injury is bad.
  10. One's sat on the bench though
  11. I don't rate Fulham at all. There's a hair's breadth between Fulham / Bournemouth / Forest / Brighton to Palace / Everton / Wolves / Man U On another note, how the fool do west ham stay up every year? Literally every time I watch them they are being bent over,.pants round ankles and bummed worse than Stuart Lubbock.
  12. Agree but one win changes everything. It's a three horse race for two spots. I'd say we are 75% likely to end up in one of those spots but it's isn't (yet) over. Panic kills. Cool heads and bravery needed
  13. No manager on earth gets a point without playing a GK. ok, was his choice not to play one. But with no GK, there's no points
  14. There's only one rule in a relegation race. Stay within a win of safety. You've always got a chance if so. Three weeks ago wolves were dead and buried until we played without a keeper and kickstarted them
  15. Well, I've absolutely torn into the guy but that's two games we've looked organised and playing with clear instructions. However, I balance that that they were games where 6 points were there for the taking of a confident side. His subs were wrong, again. Right two introduced but 15 mins too late. And for Bilal?! If the fella has any chance, he's gotta roll the dice and play Bounnotte and Bilal together. And be big enough to drop Vards. Cooper was terrified to do the obvious and drop the goat. But this guy should have the ego to do so. Big worries for Vesty injury tho. Another key player gone.
  16. It's the Leicester way. Not just in football. In everything. Zero civic pride.
  17. Saw two things first half. JJ overlapped, running 100 yards..cross came to nothing. Then had to sprint back as Ayew CBA to temporarily fill in for him. Ayew just did his job as we fell into shape. Must be so dispiriting for JJ. I'm alright jack attitude from Ayew. Similar time, he almost fcked up like wolves and left a deep cross...but was offside. But he gave a look to Jakub as if to say, where's my fcking call? He's having a.mare, but he needs a hand too.
  18. I've slaughtered the lad but credit where it's due, he did what a reserve player should today and turn in a steady, decent, safe and professional performance.
  19. A team - even as weak as ours is - in form beats a lethargic Man City last week and a depleted Villa today. The difference a bit of confidence makes eh?
  20. Ok, I'm gonna try defend the indefensible.....I thought he was trying to do the right thing. All the defenders plus winks and Bouba and Bilal have clearly been instructed to take an extra touch when deep and be braver. Make the less obvious pass.Risk and reward etc. And to an extent it worked today and v Man City. He tried not just to clear it out. He looked for a pass, delayed, looked again, delayed looked again. So far so good. Then he fooked up.
  21. Need some hard running up there. Which Daka can do,. despite his faults
  22. Fair play to Luke Thomas so far. Kept it simple and kept to the basics and done well
  23. Well, we were correct v Brentford (Dawson, who presumably also did lots of analysis) and Wolves and Newcastle. Each game the fans called it.
  24. I think that makes it worse, not better. Punters in the stands who do zero research and have zero training know more than him
  25. Sheffield United lost most games 8-0 last season - Thomas unable to make that defence. Despite that, Their manager still didn't think it a better idea to play Thomas and got rid at Xmas.
