As some pundits, and many on here have outlined, any result would be a bonus. What we want to see is hard running, grafting, making those annoying little fouls and recovery runs and just generally looking up for it. The signs have been there for a while about attitude issues, now that the manager has admitted it let’s see the lads do something about it. Regardless of the circumstances we should be treating anfield like a free hit anyway. A 3-0 loss but with an improved attitude from the players would be a massive improvement from what we’ve seen recently. Just make it interesting boys ffs

Has to be done. Sack Rodgers, stabilise and stay up this season (not an exaggeration), then look to rebuild in the summer. Let’s hope Thai tourism has a good few months to finance the new squad

Regardless of whether he leaves, this season is already essentially a write off. This will invariably lead to regression with the inability to retain some key players, so it will be a step backwards for the next year or so. I have faith in club though, so I’m sure any decision they make will be in the best interest of everyone from the owner to the fans. Rodgers can **** off if he wants though

Just a quick word on the coverage, have we ever won when we’ve had that ‘alternate’ BT commentator on our games? His voice is seemingly synonymous with underwhelming Europa League defeats for me. Yep. You don’t want to watch it back, it will just wind you up more. There’s loads of little things like that in both the last goals but it’s healthier to just ignore it and hope to Christ we can patch things up for the weekend (I am not hopeful).
