As bleak as things look, one thing we seem to have got right is the academy. Some of the lads were bringing through look extremely promising. The type of lads who are probably ready to step up. Particularly Aluko, Monga and hopefully Evans. But Joseph looks excellent too, and Page…… he looked brilliant. I know we can’t get carried away but a 16 year old lad to have that kind of composure in a senior game was very impressive.

Page is unreal. So calm and collected on the ball….. he is major talent. Bellingham vibes.

Could you imagine recent Premier league and FA cup winners playing in their training kit with no manager with about 100 hours left until the season starts with no transfer business done…… If this isn’t enough to make people realise King Power’s time is up, when is? When will the majority realise this is not acceptable? It’s time to wake up, and smell the ****ing coffee. No stadium expansion? No kit, no manager, no hope. King Power’s need tearing out at the roots.

It is yes, but I think the major hang up is the issues Rohl is having with Sheff W. I mean, they’re not even paying the players, so I can’t imagine their board is easy to deal with?

We’ve got money to spend on transfers. And Sheff W have set an unreasonable price for compensation on Rohl. Why would you spend £5m on a manager who is actively trying to leave his role? Some people just like to catastrophise everything.

Anyone can walk away, even if Chansiri doesn’t accept his resignation. It just means he won’t be entitled to any of his severance. He naturally wants it, but he wants to go as well. It appears we’re happy to pay the severance, which is less than the compensation, hence the sticking point.

Rohl has indicated he will walk anyway… he’s made that clear to Chansiri.

He is negotiating his exit….. he wants to leave and I think the likely scenario is we pay the exit fee, which is around £1m at this moment. He’s willing to walk out as he’s already told the ownership he isn’t coming back.

Not necessarily….. the club has been speaking with his agent. And we have held a meeting with Rohl as far as I’m aware.

There’s absolutely no chance at all Rohl will take a role as assistant coach, not after two years plus as a head coach. Why take such a gamble? If Andrews was to get sacked, he could get sacked too and then tarnish his reputation. He will want a top job. The issue we’ve got is Sheffield Wednesday are being added with the compensation. If that’s been resolved that remains to be seen, but Rohl won’t be going Brentford as a number 2.
