Mate….. we’ve been on one of the worse runs in PL history. We’ve not scored a home goal since December at home until today. The majority of this squad is hopeless, the board are hopeless, and the owner is hopeless… we are more likely to go down again than come straight back up as things stand. We need wholesale changes, we will need to sell all saleable assets, we need a new manager and backroom and preferably new ownership…… This relegation is different, the club is currently on its arse, and Ned’s a complete overhaul to see any success again.

Do we have a squad capable of promotion? In this current state, I’d very much argue we do not.

Have you seen who’s running the club?

Blue tinted glasses is good. And I know it’s not really a channel but BSLB is by far the best listen. Leicester till I die is dreadful, Leicester fan TV is also dreadful and definitely a clappers channel, and the final whistle again, is a bit wet too.

He’s looked way off it all season. Ever since he came back he’s been a shadow of the player he was prior to leaving on loan. I’ve watched a fair bit of the academy this season, and I think it’s clear he has taken a blow to his confidence. It’s a difficult situation for him, my suggestion would be he needs to move on to a lower league team and build his career from there. Too many areas of his game fall just short of being ready for the championship. Im also staggered Golding is being spoken about, I haven’t seen anything at all to suggest he is anywhere near ready for the championship.

He most definitely is part of the problem, but he isn’t the root of the problem. It sounds very much like he’s been hung out to dry somewhat, yes statistically he’s our worst ever manager, but there’s certain factors to consider, for example he’s not got any of his own staff, he came in on his own… and he hasn’t been able to sign anyone on January (I’m not counting Coulibaly, he’s just a waste). So whilst he’s been poor, it hasn’t been without deeper rooted problems above him. His press conferences clearly show there’s no comms between him and the board room, he keeps mentioning conversations that need to be had, and alignment….. I get the impression that when Ruud sees Rudkin in the corridor, Rudkin quickly runs away diving into the cleaners cupboard to avoid him. Unless you’ve got the bollocks of Maresca, it sounds very much like being the manager of LCFC can be a very, very lonely place when things aren’t going well. I have a degree of sympathy for Ruud, but I’m not suggesting he’s done a good job. But he’s not the first manager to suggest there’s communication problems from Brendan, Maresca and latterly Ruud they’ve all said things that make me wonder if anyone speaks to anyone at all.

Ruud isn’t the problem. The problem as you say, is the clueless board we have running or don’t seams, destroying the club from the inside out. But, I think the damage is done for Ruud, and I don’t think the situation is recoverable…… he’s better off leaving for his own good.
