  1. He’s a *****. His attitude and behaviour in that last season was ****ing disgusting. I’ll never forget that absolutely embarrassing effort “tracking back” against Fulham where he basically gave up…… lazy self entitled *****………
  2. If this is the most compelling argument you can present, then you obviously don’t have an ounce of critical thinking……. The reason some of us want him gone, is because he is arguably underperforming and misusing the resources he has….. we’re certainly better than our position shows, granted not by much, but we’re certainly better. A few reasons why I think this… 1- he still can’t pick an 11 he’s either happy with or confident in. 2 - it’s clear that there’s no clear tactical plan under him, players often look confused and go through at least a couple of formations a game. 3 - despite being defensive can’t keep a clean sheet…. 4 - more often than not starting slowly and conceding first normally due to poor tactics or a mistake. 5 - unable to put together a complete 90 minute performance, everything is in patches and it seems we have to rely on the game descending into chaos to come out on top, which usually is an indication of a lack of plan, and more of a reaction to a situation. All in all, I don’t think Cooper is a very good coach, he may do enough to keep us up, and I think he would because there’s three teams below who who are most definitely worse than us man for man….. The argument of a “newly promoted team” doesn’t wash, there’s a lot of premier league and European experience in this team, enough to survive fairly comfortably…. In my opinion, a better coach would get more out of this team.
  3. Are you and @Long Eaton Fox the same person?
  4. Exactly. I think it’s been as poor as it’s been for along time. FFP has a lot to say for it, but just look at the league….. Forest in a lofty position, when Chris Wood is the main source of their goals…. None of the so called ‘big six’ clubs are looking anywhere near their best, and already it seems Southampton and Ipswich are being cut adrift…… Any mediocre consistency will see you climb the league and challenge for Europe. Is it just world football at the moment? Or has FFP just taken that edge of the PL….. the league as a whole definitely seems to be regressing.
  5. That bottom three are ****ing awful… especially Southampton and Ipswich. Cooper needs to take the hand break off and take a look around. Most of this league is actual crap……. I wouldn’t even say Forest are actually any good, just organised and are revelling in the dog shit league this season is.
  6. It’s a wonder he was ever rated…. Lad looks like he’s never seen a football let alone kicked one.
  7. Apparently I run like Paula Radcliffe……………… forever stopping for a piss. So takes ages.
  8. This could be the most damaging 4 years the world has seen post WW2…. I get a feeling Trump on this occasion has come back with an agenda, like a Bond villain returning but this time he will want to cram as much into four years as possible….. or even worse completely destroy American politics and democracy by becoming the dictator he’s dreamed of being. It’s okay having comical stabs at the guy, but he’s a genuinely dangerous man, now an angry dangerous man, who as a modern day politician stated Russia’s invasion of Ukraine was ‘genius’ and Putin can ‘do what the hell he wants’……. This is the talk of an unhinged, desperate, delusional maniac who’s yet again been granted an opportunity to drive the biggest train in the world…..
  9. I just can’t fathom how someone who surrounds themselves with a the UFC CEO, a bunch of 90’s wrestlers, and a South African sqillionaire can be considered a politician…… not to mention his more sinister……….
  10. It’s not been an unfriendly set of fixtures though has it? You can look at the situation half full or half empty, we’ve been fairly consistent, but I think we’ve certainly think we’ve failed to take advantage of some good situations, I don’t think Fulham were particularly great when we played then and we could have potentially taken something from them. Villa, again take away sloppy mistakes we could have taken something from them, and the same with Everton. Palace, to go 2-0 up and throw that was bitterly disappointing, Forest again, first half thought we were arguably the better side, second half we threw it away…… Ipswich, again should be beating teams like Ipswich…… So, we are in a weird position, because we’ve shown in every game that we can match our opponents but it’s all in small spells, there’s not been a 90 minute performance, you can’t really call it, has it been a good start? Or a bad one? I’d say it’s been acceptable, theres things to work on but there’s room for optimism…… if such a combination can exist…… I definitely think we are underperforming to some degree, and I don’t think it’s harsh to suggest that, but then again, that’s good, because it shows that we’re in games and are showing that we can compete…… It’s where we go from here……
  11. @Jon the Hat this is clearly another tactical oversight by Cooper…..
  12. I mean he will won’t he…. He will change anything that means he can do what he wants. I mean, his criminal cases are about to disappear into thin air aren’t they?
  13. Does Trump have the ability to change this? Wouldn’t surprise me if he tries…… Homer Simpson has a future in politics with Trump at the helm.
  14. My word, I’m surprised Vince McMahon isn’t on stage with him! This speech is akin to a pissed up father at a wedding who hasn’t written anything, and he’s just pulling anyone up to say something…….
  15. Is Dana White really on stage with Trump? 😂
  16. This is going to be painful. They will rip us apart. 6-1.
  17. I absolutely agree in terms of them not having a proper long term plan. They seem to get transfixed on one target. Potter has been pursued twice as far as we are aware, and both times has said no essentially. Generally it’s not been that bad under KP, but we need Top along with the rest of the board to show some forward thinking………
  18. He obviously did, correct me if I’m wrong, but I vaguely recall Percy stating in an article that Rodgers and the club had a conversation about him going after the palace game, and it was more of a mutual agreement than a ‘sacking’? Essentially Rodgers told the board he didn’t fancy it anymore…..
  19. This wasn’t necessarily the case. Rodgers threw the flag in after the Crystal Palace game and it was a mutual agreement….
  20. I think with Potter it was simple as de didn’t want it in the end….. possibly some issues with backroom staff, but I don’t believe the rumours he didn’t want to work with Rudkin. What we’ve got to remember is, the picture looked a whole lot different in the summer. We were possibly confident we wouldn’t get a deduction, but, they didn’t know for sure…. Cooper made sense financially, and given his record with Forest would possibly be ideal for a dog fight. I think we all expected a points deduction and most of us were fairly comfortable with, Cooper based on the fact it looked to be a tough season and he may have been up for the dog fight…… but board had to made a decision based on all of those facts, and Cooper seemed to be a fairly good choice… attempt to scrape survival, and then reassess in the summer….. Its just so happens the situation has changed dramatically…. Cooper was appointed for damage limitation, and this is no longer necessary.
  21. I know…. You can understand why they wanted to hold onto Rodgers. He delivered the FA cup, a trophy we’ve lusted after since its inception, and produced some memorable football along the way. We can argue until we’re blue in the face about his demise but he had credit in the bank. Cooper was very much a back up option, they wanted Potter, he was the number one target, it didn’t materialise so it then fell to Cooper. The club have not lost any ambition, despite what some fans may think Top and co still very much want the future of the club to be w progressive one. They won’t stand for much more mediocrity, they may be fairly chipper at the moment to leave him in post because we have daylight between us and the bottom three, but that’s almost certainly going to change over the next run of games. What I really do want from the board is use a bit of foresight, be proactive….. we’re ten games in plus a pre season, and Cooper still hasn’t got a clue what to do in terms of tactics, players and formations…… if he hasn’t fathomed this after ten games plus a pre season, will he ever? I doubt it. I just don’t want to be in a situation where we end up in the bottom three and then get rid of him…… perhaps they’ve earmarked the next I/N break to make a decision. As he would have had ample time to make an impact.
  22. Not everyone on the board is convinced by him. Let’s say he’s not going to be given the same leeway as Rodgers was….
  23. On a serious note, he’s highlighted exactly what a lot of us have been saying, Cooper simply doesn’t know how to get the balance of this squad right.
  24. Great stuff, but apparently it’s a championship squad?
