You do realise more is required than just chucking a previous managers line up together and hoping you get the same result. You actually need to deploy the tactic, for which Cooper is incapable of doing.

This just shows how desperate we’ve all become…… don’t do it to yourselves………..you know he will be back to letting people run past him again in no time.

The biggest issue I have with Cooper, is he simply can’t be the man to take this club forward. Otherwise we will just continue to regress to a version of Stoke City 2.0 and eventually go down in a lot worse state than we even are now. My view is simply if he’s not the man to take us forward, then just **** him off. The squad we have will comfortably achieve survival, but I don’t want the club to just gamble on Cooper and hope he manages a 17th place finish, because I believe that we are better than that. As per usual another late goal seems to have given Cooper some more breathing space, he’s clinging onto this life here, the football is hideous and there’s a lot of luck that contributed to this position. It’s going to be interesting when we get a run of more difficult games. Im very much of the opinion just get rid of him, the goalposts have changed re FFP, and we’re not in the same position we were when the season started, with Cooper we will forever be looking over our shoulders, because that’s just him, we need someone who’s going to help us look and move forward.

I mean, there’s a lot and shit teams in the league….. no amount of data will suggest that the likes of palace and wolves aren’t absolutely rancid. Forest aren’t even that good, and they’re flying.

Got all of the physical attributes to be a great player. But like you say he just switches off….

The momentum of the game was largely with Ipswich. Yes they didn’t create that many clear cut chances, but the momentum was definitely more with them than us until the red card.

I still haven’t seen a compelling argument other than “we’re not in the bottom three”. Funny how that seems to pop up when those late goals go in.

We’re definitely better than Wolves, Palace, Ipswich and Southampton on paper…. But I just don’t have faith on Cooper, with him in charge it will be a real gamble.

Wolves, Southampton, Ipswich and Palace are all comfortably worse than us.

the most painful aspect of all of this, is the fact we can be better, and we know we can be better. We should have won that game today, man for man we are better than Ipswich and I think that’s why I’m struggling so much to get on board with Cooper. He’s comes across as a really nice bloke and I think he has the players on side on a personal level, but there’s no doubting that tactically he’s out of his depth, and he can’t get to grips with this squad. There’s just no evidence of a real plan……

The positivity is misplaced.

I don’t think the players are against him per se, o think they’re fighting, I just think there’s a massive amount of confusion around his style of play and what he’s asking the players to do.

I thought as long as he is used from the bench he would work, and he is. This stage of his career, and the traits he has he is definitely an impact sub, and he is having a big impact.

It’s incredible when we snatch a late goal the super positive folk come out do the wood work claiming “great point”….. “fab game, really enjoyed it” 😂 The reality was they got a man sent off, and for the majority of the game we sucked ass, again. Luck is what got us a point today.
