  1. It’s unfortunately just the way it is…… despite all the wrong KP and the club keep doing. The majority still buy the shirts, the majority still buy the food, the majority still spend small fortunes in the club shop and the majority still take their free beers and cake. The majority of the fan base attending the KP on match day still don’t think the club can do any wrong, and just accept the situation as it is. It’s part of the problem.
  2. The contract was all but signed and fell down because of backroom staff issues according to OPA. There’s more and more rumours coming out that it was indeed because he wanted to bring his own DOF in with him. Imagine having the chance to be rid of the useless DOF you currently have, and replace them with a potentially better one, and refuse…………
  3. It just shows the blind loyalty Top shows to Rudkin. The bloke has far too much power……. And you look at Brightons model, and think it probably would have been a good idea…….. Potter must have known Rudkin was shit….
  4. Most fans on here are well aware where the problem lies…. But is that going to change? No…… Some things that have really irritated me so far has been this bizarre acceptance amongst some fans that this is how things should be, and a complete dismissal of last season because it was the championship…… Last season just highlights Cooper was the wrong choice, forget the negatives towards the end of the season, and opinions of some of Enzo’s tactical visions and his stubbornness, I had many concerns myself if he was the right choice to take us into this season, and I think many do…… however, we should not do his time here a disservice by just dismissing it, you have to look at the situation in context……… a surprise relegation, a completely rudderless club with no leadership, and Enzo came in and instantly changed all of this. He set an instant direction for the club, there was a clear identity and a clear philosophy, which is what we needed. Without any of these things we would not have gone up, the recruitment was good last season and it seemed we were back on track. We don’t really know what went on in the recruitment process for the new manager, but Cooper definitely wasn’t the number one choice I think it’s fair to say…. It all seems like it’s a fall back option, and we’re operating like that…. The recruitment has been poor, the pre season preparations poor, and there seemingly appears to be no plan and no idea…… this is a polar opposite to last season. This is what worries me, you don’t get time to adapt at this level, and it appears Cooper is struggling to get this team to adapt at the moment. Spurs was a hopeful performance, but yesterday just undid any of that good work because we just looked clueless and lost. Iwobi’s goal was just gobsmacking, to concede a goal like that at this level was just poor. It’s a worry, because it need not be like this. There is talent in this team, but at the moment it’s not being utilised. At the moment, I can’t see how things improve especially with the likes of Jordan Ayew and BDR getting into the squad.
  5. Did they say that we’re all babies, and should accept a disorganised performance because we’re still a champions league team?
  6. Moyes will end up being our manager by the time the season finishes.
  7. We’re not getting a ten point deduction.
  8. That won’t happen unless Top either sells, or sacks his board and recruits better people.
  9. I agree with you, but you expect to see something, if we’re going to counter attack you need to set up properly. It’s not much to expects I refuse to accept this team is so shit that they can’t even set up properly. Some fans are talking as if we didn’t win the league last season, yes it’s not a great league, but this team still has enough about it to stay up in my opinion. I just don’t think Cooper is a good coach, there just is absolutely nothing at all that would suggest the players know what they’re doing. You would expect at the very least some sort of system and organisation, but when you rewatch Iwobi’s goal, it just shows there’s a real lack of understanding. Surely the first thing is to sort out the fundamentals of the system, and build from there. I know it seems to be popular to bash the club and the team, but I actually have more respect for Enzo, just seeing how quickly he was able to gel the team, irrespective of the quality of the league…. And now, we look completely clueless and that’s in a team with premier league experience.
  10. The manager implements the tactics though…… there’s no obviously method….. today was a mixture of badly trying to play out of the back, smashing it forward and panicking in possession. I think it’s a lack of confidence in the system. No one looks like they know what they’re doing out there. I wouldn’t mind if the players are making errors trying to play risky passes and good patterns of play. But it’s not, it’s just fear and incompetence.
  11. Would be nice to play something at least. Rather than watch Fulham play poorly, and still beat us…….. some form of identity would be nice.
  12. The problem for Cooper, is we’ve gone from a manager who asserted himself immediately, and almost straight away got a wayward ship back on course. Cooper has come in, and there seems to be confusion and a lack of identity again. It’s not a good reflection on a manager when he seemingly looses such control almost immediately…. But he doesn’t help himself, he says he hasn’t changed much, yet we’re unrecognisable, says we need goals, and he signs Jordan Ayew……. It just won’t work, you can see it unfolding already, and unfortunately it won’t change, because I just don’t think he’s a competent coach, he had a good spell at Forest, but he only kept them up because us, Southampton and Leeds were so poor. I’m very concerned, and just have absolutely zero confidence in him.
  13. agree. But, for how much of the game if Fulham truly dominate? Probably 30 minutes. After this it was purely routine. The most concerning thing for me, is that despite this drop off, we didn’t threaten…. As you said, both goals were horrible goals to concede, they were the type of goals Sheffield United were conceding last season. The lack of a tactical plan from Cooper is alarming… unfortunately, this season is likely to be over before it gets started, and the worst bit is, the points deduction won’t even be what sends us down…. We’ve had an opportunity to start a fresh, and we’ve got is wrong in my opinion, Cooper already sounds like a worried man, like a man who doesn’t even believe in what he’s doing here, and we can’t afford to carry that. It’s amazing, last season we seemed to get our direction back, so much good work undone in the space of a summer break. Heartbreaking.
  14. There talent in the team, granted the signings have been poor…. I don’t get Okoli, and Ayew and BDR are just two hideous signings. Coopers undoubtedly made some honking decisions so far, and he won’t finish the season, unless the board are satisfied to be relegated. But I fear we’ve damaged any chance of survival by even appointing him.
  15. Under cooper we will just be making up the numbers. If Enzo can come in an instantly make an impact, then other managers surely can… the fact there’s no identity under Cooper just proves he’s out of his depth. Has top got the balls to sack him though? I fear not.
  16. Too early to dismiss him, but he’s definitely looked poor but his manager is throwing him under the bus by keeping him in the side.
  17. This pisses me off…. It clearly isn’t is it? If it was shit it wouldn’t have done what it did last season, under an inexperienced manager. Its a club that’s currently in transition, when it probably didn’t want to be, and is seemingly struggling to get to grips with its new “coach”. There was enough talent in that team to get something from that game. The managers poor tactical decisions presented Fulham with easy opportunities to win the game.
  18. It shouldn’t. The only two teams who’ve had deviations both survived.
  19. You’re not wrong. Cooper and Pearson aren’t dissimilar in their approach on the pitch. But for me it’s about the team if that’s the case, and did Cooper just have a good team around him at Forest? I don’t believe all of that team are here are they? It just doesn’t work for me, Cooper already sounds like he’s treading water in his interviews and it’s match day 2. It’s never a good day when you lose a game, and even the opponents didn’t actually play that well. I think Coopers tactics lost us the game, because we just didn’t have enough of a go.
  20. It’s all well and good sat there calling angry fans melts, but there were a lot of very worrying signs in that game. As I’ve said, you don’t mind losing providing there’s some positives to take from the game, today there was nothing. Fulham started well, but after they scored they really fell off, and second half they played the game at walking pace, now if that was a tactical decision from Silva it was a good call, because we were incapable of offering any kind of challenge there today. There really was no tactical plan at all, the first half we were so scrappy, couldn’t string passes together and just kept lashing the ball downfield. Second half, no surprise Fulham came out playing a slower tempo and we became more even, but we never once pushed, never once showed initiative. The starting line up was wrong, and you could just tell, Fulham play with advancing fullbacks, and like to press hard, Mavadidi should have started in my opinion to at least give us that option. So many poor decisions from Cooper today, from the tactics to the substitutions is was just plain diabolical. This team is better than this, and it’s one thing criticising some fans for being negative, and then flippantly suggesting we’re just shit and this was expected….. but this was largely a team, that almost immediately adapted a very intricate and specific style of football, and even on bad days made it work….. at the moment there’s no style, no identity, and no real evidence of tactical plans……. Cooper has no idea what he’s doing here, he can’t pick up where Enzo left off and it’s horribly clear. It was unfortunate that our manager walked out on us, but it seems we had no plan besides Potter, and when that fell though took a punt on Cooper. He's out of his depth, and it’s painfully obvious he is. It was a very worrying game today, you wouldn’t mind if you played well and lost two two decent goals, but neither team played particularly well, and we conceded two shocking goals, and didn’t really show much in terms of a tactical plan. It’s my opinion that Cooper is plain and simply a bad fit for the club, and isn’t going to work
  21. **** sake, come on? Seriously? Fulham are a bang average premier league team, who incidentally looked poor after their first goal for most of the game. Two goals conceded were the sort of goals you see scored on a playground in a primary school during morning break, and we looked about as dangerous as chihuahua with no teeth. You wouldn’t mind if we played really well and were unlucky, but we didn’t, we didn’t even look capable of even troubling Fulham, they were playing at snails pace by the 70th minute and we still couldn’t produce anything. That performance was disgusting, there no evidence of a tactical plan at all, Fulham will be genuinely laughing in that changing room as to how easy it was to win, they won’t even need a shower, probably not a drop of sweat on them. Employing Cooper was another critical error.
  22. I’d rather sit on a cactus than watch Cooper ball.
  23. Get rid, I don’t think I’ve ever wanted a manager gone so quickly.
  24. ****ing rubbish. Horrible performance, not a shred of football and clinging on like a dingleberry for 90 minutes to just concede two absolute fifa beginner settings goals. No identity, no evidence of a tactical plan, zero quality and zero creativity….. all backed up by signing an absolute waste of ****ing space in Jordan Cunting Ayew. That was an utterly passive performance, and screams of a team heading straight back down. Cooper needs to go immediately, his disgusting brand of football isn’t welcome here. Pack up and **** off sunshine.
