  1. I know Enzo really likes Alves, but as we’ve seen he won’t rush him into the squad until he’s properly ready. I think he will like Braybrook too, who is likely to become Winksy’s understudy. Akgun although not an 8, he is a neat and tidy footballer and fairly good with the ball at his feet, I’ve liked what I’ve seen over the past few games and think he would be more than capable of filling that role. McAteer is an odd one, what I like about him is he is direct, quick and when he is confident gets into good positions, I think confidence is an issue for him though, a number of times he got into great positions V Swansea, but never progressed, I think with a run of games under his belt we might see that form return.
  2. All I’m bothered about is the fact we won’t be able to sing “Sensi Boy”……
  3. Anyway, back to normal proceedings. Think we will beat these fairly comfortable.
  4. Didn’t need to sign anyone, I’m happy with the squad and at full strength it’s still the strongest squad along with Southampton. Hopefully it means the likes of Alves may get a chance when he’s fit which is something I’d be far more excited about.
  5. I’m not over fussed he isn’t here, because I don’t think it’s a necessity, I’d rather we give the likes of Alves a chance when he’s up to speed. My concern is just what happened? It would be nice to know what went wrong is all.
  6. Come on, things are nowhere near as bad as this…… We’ve lost Casadei, who wasn’t really playing anyway. Akgun over the last few weeks has looked really good and is a genuine option. Macateer is an option, I imagine Alves at some point will be given a chance also and Praet is needing to find some match fitness and then he will be back. Things aren’t as bad as some people seem to want to be making out, we’ve got fairly good squad depth, plus players returning from AFCON and suspension. Wilf is the only real long term concern, there’s more than enough in this squad to see us up.
  7. But then why even go ahead with the deal? If there was any shred of doubt they shouldn’t have done it…. It just to me seems really unprofessional to have a player in a position where they’re basically signed, for it all to fall through last minute because essentially it isn’t financially going to work. If things are so close to the line surely you don’t even go there? Have they tried just to appease Enzo? If so, that’s even worse because he will be seriously pissed off that it’s fallen through. What should have happened is the club should have stipulated that until they’ve received a fee for a player and they’ve left, they can’t move in for another one, yes getting your ducks in order is preferred so you’re ready to go if such a situation arises, but surely not to the point where a player is literally unpacking his suitcase to be told the deal is off…. To me, it just looks incompetent, unless of course the media have made this deal appear more advanced than it actually was.
  8. It’s all well and good people trying to defend the club here and suggest that it’s FFP reasons stating “badly run clubs get fined and points deducted etc, etc”….. but, you don’t suddenly decide that you can’t afford a deal when the player is actually on the clubs premises, you don’t let a player fly from another country, complete a medical offer them a contract and then decide you can’t to a deal….. It is quite clear that we’ve ****ed up, again….. the only saving grace would be inter pulled out of the deal, but they wouldn’t, he’s walking away on a free come the summer. The club is run by incompetent idiots, and Enzo will learn as much and has already suggested he’s ****ed off with it already. This is an utter shambles, it’s embarrassing.
  9. Got a feeling Enzo will walk after this.
  10. It’s not. The deal has been agreed with Milan, multiple sources are suggesting it’s legal work, so work permits and visa’s etc, stuff that could have been sorted, instead of pissing about in Thailand for a week.
  11. Time to make a stand and get this guy ****ed off. He’s incompetent and he’s been saved by our recent success. The only way he goes is if fans actively call for his head.
  12. To be fair I can see him walking. It’s clear he’s already ****ed off with the board, and he’s no shrinking violet, unlike Rodgers he’s likely to upset important figures at the club by telling them how it is.
  13. It’s quite clear this is the clubs issue….. the deal has allegedly been agreed and the medical completed. Reading between the lines it’s the club that have screwed up once again.
  14. Rudkin sorting out the paperwork.
  15. Get those Rudkin out banners dusted off.
  16. Imagine Sensi waking up at Seagrave tomorrow not being a Leicester player. Might offer him a half price breakfast.
  17. Our FFP struggles are just a cover for Rudkins incompetence. ****.
  18. How long has the window been open? And now we’re scrambling around again in the final hours. If this falls through, surely it’s finally time for some balls and call for Rudkin to be sacked. It’s becoming a joke.
  19. It clearly isn’t happening is it? We probably went ahead with it to the point of confirming the deal, and if a player didn’t go out of the door just pull the plug. Which I think is what may happen.
  20. Hopefully elocution lessons so he can stop calling N’didi Nadidi.
  21. Do you want a sweet chin music?
