That all might be true. Would love to see your source for all this information.

I am….mythical? The main reasons the MLS is the third most popular league is history, advertising money, and the fact that football/soccer is not the sport the majority of kids played in the last 20 years. A lot of that is changing now but regardless there’s no reason to throw generalizations around. On top of that, the amount of money thrown around the premiere league over the past few seasons combined with the teams owned by sovereign wealth has led me to appreciate the MLS more than ever this season. I think that model is something everyone can appreciate to some extent if it keeps some parity in competition.

If I was a manager and saw how little effort it took to keep a job here I’d jump at the chance!

Scrolling on my phone through this thread and I realized what was wrong with our sponsor logo when I saw this ad.

West Ham United 4-1 Leicester City - Post Match Thread

Good news everyone! Perez won’t be playing against Norwich! -
Because they have assessed it now and it's not good enough for him to play. After the international break, enough time will have passed that it would make sense to reassess and see if more progress has been made.

Fox of WA replied to Godfrey Chikumbi's topic in Leicester City Forum
I think I’d like to do that if I’m able. I’m in Washington state but whatever I can help set up let me know. I think it’s a really cool idea. Message me and let me know. -

Did this idea die? Bumping it to get attention back on it. We’re one goal in so far this season. 😁 -
Had to watch that in slow motion three times to figure that goal out! Beautiful!

Vardy’s waking up!

No. But symptoms and severity vary.
-
Guaranteed hat trick.
-
Plenty have had long covid symptoms that’s hurt their performance and plenty more have contaminated the team causing multiple people to isolate. Not counting how their families or non playing staff could be effected.
-
Fixed it.

Amartey deserves his spot and hopefully Vardy gets himself going quick!

4,569 miles away for me. I feel we’re almost spoiled in the US these days. I have to have several different online subscriptions to have access to everything but I can watch every match, including Europa league, and domestic cups. I like the BBC Leicester podcast too for the most part. Especially post match I think Piper gives very good insight.

It’s uneven when they play against burnley. But the disparity resolves itself quite a bit when you’re playing Real Madrid. They want more because it’s a business to them. Why shouldn’t they want more? You have a system of sport that rewards the winning teams by promoting them to more profitable competitions and relegating the losing teams to a tier with less money and less attention, yet you are shocked and appalled when those teams use that wealth to protect their position and fight tooth and nail to keep anyone else away from it? I love the promotion/relegation system because it makes everything more real. In theory, the teams all have to fight for survival and so they fight harder. But a side effect of that system is that the biggest teams eventually have the ability to dominate and get whatever they want because they’ve been rewarded with the money to do it. The greed that is being clearly displayed is a natural reaction to a system that allows itself to be taken advantage of.

I’m totally against the idea of a euro super league, but living in America, I can say that this line of reasoning doesn’t hold a lot of water. You just have to look at how the NFL can fill seats and make a ton of money despite huge geographic differences, fewer games every year, and “the same old” teams every season. These big teams in Europe look at the stability and massive income of these American leagues and want that for themselves. Like I said, I think it’s not a good idea, but I can understand why they’re into it.
