On the upside i whacked a free bet on ipswich.

If you want an atmosphere, go anywhere except england. I think we have to accept football culture in england is dead. My advice is if you want a dose of real football culture, save up a bit and take trips elsewhere.

Ipswich have thrown away so many points this year they really should be in a much stronger position. I said it was only a matter of time before they started those points up, it was inevitable. I think at home they can get enough points to stay up. Palace, everton, wolves, ipswich and ourselves all vying to finish 4th bottom. At the moment we're the worst out of those. The hope comes from our performance yesterday.

Up next for united, liverpool and arsenal...at this rate rangers will fancy their chances.

nah.

Some scenes at the end of the dundee united game..... I think the expression is 'limbs'. Tonnes of pyro from aberdeen fans too. Unfortuantely yet again missiles being thrown, including a half full bottle of vodka. Noticed on the dundee united website the main page banner for ticket sales has the eastside supporters group ..thats how to show support for the fans.

I'm 50% sure that's incorrect. -

Wrexham's wheels continue to fall off as they go 2nd. -
I'd imagine half the crowd won't be there for the 2nd half.

Yeah they waited hoping to get pictures of the man city players.

Interesting point I hadn't considered this. There's no question that things are going on behind the scenes that has led to such a lenient approach. There are of course calls for tougher measures from some parties but it seems to be falling on deaf ears...especially when it comes to strict liability for clubs. The only way I can see things changing is if theres some tragic occurance, lets all hope that never happens. If the ultra groups can self police as many do, then the scene in scotland could be very very special.

Don't you think his bubble's burst?

And so many youngsters, whatever the SFA or the clubs have done its made a huge difference. They understand that these are supporters of the future. One of the reasons I believe for the lenient approach is the bigger picture. The pictures on the BBC after the edinburgh derby, thousands of hibs fans in the away end 95% look like teenage/20's....scan the premier league and you'd do well to see any notable group of that age. Watching scottish football reminds me of when I started going regulary in the early 90's, loads of lads, good atmospheres and full bloodied football. People can call the quality but its so much better to watch than pocession football.

Anyone watch the dunfermline falkirk match? if anyone wants to know how the english game on and off the field has changed watch that one. This aint italy, or germany this is scotland. A championship match in scotland with less than 9000 there. Brilliant atmsophere, attacking full bloodied action. pyro all over the place. Its still amazing to see even in these games 100's of ultras bouncing, drums banging, all led by a capo ...in dunfermline. Almost the whole end just full of young lads, no coincidence given the clubs and the SFA have targeted them. The complete opposite to south of the border... Unfortunately there was a downside, yet again there was flares being thrown and ripped up seats.....but it sure was entertaining.

Anyone else fancy Everton to beat forest?
-
Quick it's or chance to rip off the fans...
-
we aint that far, we might be playing them again soon enough.
-
Hib's fans have caused plenty of problems over the past few seasons too, but most scottish clubs have an 'element'.
-
Love the fact scottish clubs boo pocession football...i'm with them there, it really is dull.
-
we'd all probably celebate a 2-0 defeat.

How do you get christmases like this?. I'm jealous lol. Currently have 15 people here..and a dog, running out of beer....spending a moment of peace in the upstairs toilet.

Safe Standing at the King Power Stadium
purpleronnie replied to Foxes_Trust's topic in Leicester City Forum
This is the problem with the way the majority of clubs in england are doing it just shoving a rail there. I guess when it is a safe stading area no-one will sit anyway, but the seat within the barrier works so much better. -
Safe Standing at the King Power Stadium

Brighton are bringing it in including various other changes:- Phase three of the overhaul, a new hospitality area added to the north stand for the 2026-27 season, will increase the capacity of the stadium to 32,500. Other plans include the introduction of safe standing in the north stand in 2025 and in the relocated away section. -
Yeah but some of us are nice.

Yep nothing changed when we got relegated, I doubt anything would change again. But even if it did, they'd all be mixed in with fans that aren't interested in creating an atmosphere. Thats why we need an end...and that will never happen with the current owners.
