Filbert Street or the King Power Stadium
purpleronnie replied to dayday's topic in Leicester City Forum
Never really understood why so many thought filbert street was a dump or it that it needed huge upgrades, I go and watch the football, so as long as theres a seat or i can stand I dont really care about anything else. So Filbert street for me. -
Players not coming over to the fans
purpleronnie replied to Ian Nacho's topic in Leicester City Forum
I have to say I find it all a little bit embarrassing when players come over. Mainly due to the fact half the ground has gone home, and the rest are on their way out. Its hardly like players in Germany/Italy etc...when the players go to the packed ultra end with pyro and flags and bouncing fans. English players are appaluding a few fans who are looking back as they go towards the exit. -
As we've said before we have large sections of our fanbase who don't care about results, they applauded the players off after we got relegated. It's just the type of fanbase we have. They'll make the long trip down to bournemouth and if we haven't already been relegated they'll applaud us getting spanked there too. They'll get their cameras out at the end of the match and get all excited because some player who was dogshit is within 40 yards of them.

Yep Brillaint day all round for forest. Could see all 3 east midland sides in different divisions next season. Just a few seasons ago we were top 4 at this stage, and forest were trying to avoid relegation to League one.

Unless Preston are on a terrible run.

Don't fancy any of the english teams to do well, be suprised if arsenal make the semis.

Guess it depends on what you're in it for, if a couple of hundred grand a week isn't enough and all you're interested is more money then that's who you are.

Loving the new format.

Safe standing - time to act
purpleronnie replied to Safe Standing Roadshow's topic in Leicester City Forum
Survey was irrelevant, it wouldn't have made any difference if every leicester fan in the county took part, they'll do the cheapest smallest amount they can, most of ussaid this at the start and that's what will happen. Unless the SGSA decide we need a larger area the club will do nothing. And if they can just whack a bar in front of a seat then thats what they will do. -
I doubt there's another country that rips off their fans as much as here. Every country I know shows their national teams free to air.
-
Yeah loads more money,, not sure what the rules are there these days. Wait another decade and see how much they'll have.
-
I'd always question the authenticity of such things unless it came directly from the club.

No-one wants to win that league, 3 points between top 5. With only 1 team in the top 6 winning. Strange league.

Manchester United again exploit fans loyalty

who cares what other fans say. Itl sends a message either against the prices or how things are going on the pitch. -
Championship 2024/2025 Season Thread

Agreed, Just shows how poor the championship is this season. -
They've picked up 25 points out of 30 away from home.

We'll ensure Ange keeps him job for another week.

Happy days.

Great, double thumbs up. The sky sports guests watching these games never fail to amaze me with their english teams bias, as soon as Man city went 2-0 they said it was all over.
-
I hope that those not going wont resell their ticket...if they can afford to take the hit. Empty seats might make them take notice.
-
All man city needed was to beat us to recover their form.
