  1. In an ideal world they'd both lose though... Hold me at gunpoint and I'm always going to choose Forest to go down, historical levels of Spursiness be damned
  2. A draw would be perfect here, but is reliant on Wet Spam doing the business. I've given up on Burnley ever turning up and Wolves have left it too late.
  3. Fixed that for you Almost certainly between Hearts and Rangers now if this one stays this way!
  4. Cheating Cov scum, that's never a penalty in a million years, didn't even come close to contact
  5. Oh look, Kone scored two today, another striker we went out of our way not to get.
  6. Imagine if they'd secretly been filming a Sunderland-type documentary behind the scenes. Instant classic.
  7. Nice to see we've revitalised QPR's season for them just in time to smash Pompey. 4D chess, innit? Brizzle on the other hand can do one. Paper thin mentality.
  8. As glad as I am that Southampton are ahead, every time I see Larin score it pisses me off knowing they had the brains to scout an actual striker at this level. Such simple stuff that we've managed to shit the bed instead of doing for a decade-plus now. Might as well start the transfer thread in foresight for the 28/29 season when he's surplus to requirements at St. Mary's and had two knee replacements. Buying crocks from that lot is just what we do.
  9. In our case we've cut out the middle man and made our coffin out of nails.
  10. I mean this one still seems pretty black and white to me. He's a knob who thinks he was better than us even at Championship level, the fans were right that he wasn't giving it 100%, and Rudkin couldn't run a bath if the tap asked him to. It's not really nuance or shades of grey if the only complicating factor is our idiot ownership clinging onto a poisonous asset at great expense. We all knew that was how they operate upstairs anyway, so it's not new information, this interview just serves to confirm what we already suspected (knew) about Wout and Rudkin. Piss off Wout, and take your weird Aunt (?) with you. Frankly I'm more interested to hear what comes out of the woodwork from other players who we've moved on in the coming year or two, now it's becoming obvious that the cultural issues at the club are not only 100% real but being openly acknowledged by players who were at the very centre of them. Over to you, Harry, Stephy et. al.
  11. Nah, Senegal have the trophy at a military base under the guard of the Army to prevent it being taken from them, and Guinea have dug up the result of the 1976 final in response, pointing out that Morocco staged a 15 minute walk off of their own during that game, their only AFCON win to date... they are now campaigning for that result to be overturned and the title for that year be given to them. It's not even close. AFCON is on another level of insanity and meme-ness.
  12. Worth the risk. We "got to a European Semi-Final" but it means f*** all besides being a footnote for our downfall in the ensuing years. The same for F*rest would be lovely - maybe we'll play them in League One in 2030.
  13. Let em stay in it and rot in the league, them getting to the semi, going out and realising they're 5 points adrift with 3 games to play would be perfect.
  14. Spurs somehow spawning this and staying in the UCL would be perfect to be honest, keep them occupied while the league slide continues. It's the same reason I'm in two minds about F*rest's second leg - if they go out that leaves them eight games to focus purely on survival, which is too many for my liking.
  15. Straw clutching I'm afraid
  16. If i don't laugh I'll cry
  17. I'd go one further and conveniently 'lose' the trophy
  18. unserious continent
  19. Grumptomistic has a nice ring to it, missed opportunity
  20. It needs pointing out that we finished on 52 points in 2007-08 as well. If we finish on less than 46 (taking into account the 6 point deduction), this is objectively our worst league performance in our 142 year history. Though I'm being kind there, because those six points were entirely self-inflicted. To call it unacceptable would be an understatement. This team should be tried for war crimes for managing to pull in less points than a team whose stars were Patrick Kisnorbo, Ian Hume and Steve Howard.
  21. Please keep doing what you're doing. You're the ones on the right side of history.
  22. Our club are more interested in selling shirts in the bootleg clothes capital of the world, which is why Choudhury is still here. More quality business decisions from King Power.
