  1. Ah, there's the clown show. Winks, Okoli, Ricardo all to blame.
  2. Starting to understand why these keep letting Cov slip away from them. They're poor.
  3. Boro commentary moaning that Luke Thomas is doing the dark arts of football well - was I hit by a lorry and woke up in another world?
  4. best centre back ever
  5. daka masterclass incoming
  6. To be honest I can't agree with that as an away fan, there's something incredibly unsettling about standing in a place where almost 100 people lost their lives, and one that basically hasn't been changed since. Sorry to be that guy in a thread about their relegation, but yeah, the Leppings Lane end is horrid and it's unbelievable that it's not been redeveloped since those awful scenes nearly 40 years ago. And Newcastle fans will tell you that it's still dangerous too, there was a crush there during a cup game in 2023 where it was pure luck nobody was injured or worse. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-south-yorkshire-68567614 Sums up the chronic lack of investment in the place from chancers like Chansiri and all those who came before him that the stand has not been torn down and rebuilt by now. And as for the last line, nah, those clubs are all in the top flight on merit.
  7. Oh, i thought you meant putting a competitive squad together to stay in the Championship. Because that's our realistic ceiling even in a good scenario. In which case, who'd give a shit what a relegated Spurs did? We wouldn't be in their bracket.
  8. The only positive in it would be, he'd stop being a greedy bastard in the final third out wide, since his job actually WOULD be to shoot on sight. Knowing him, he'd suddenly decide to start passing to his team-mates once we put him in a position where he's supposed to be receiving those balls. And drift out wide all the time rendering playing him centrally completely useless. Can just see it now - he'd essentially be a lightweight Ayew. Don't want him in the team to be honest, his body language stinks and he's not got the performance level to make up for it.
  9. Bold of you to assume we'd be anywhere near challenging them next season, it would 100% be about consolidation and squad renewal for us after this debacle. If we were even in contention for the top six (or eight by the sounds of it) next season, bonus! Spurs being down here with us even for one season, as one of the Greedy Super League Six who wanted their breakaway league to prevent this exact scenario, would be something they'll never live down. It's not happened in the modern era - Man City don't count. Genuinely wouldn't give a damn if they smash it and go back up. If we can somehow squeak the playoffs and go with them, bonus. If they DIDN'T make the top two and we got them in the playoffs after squeaking eighth?! How delightfully juicy. Imagine dumping them out and condemning them to a second season in the Championship despite finishing 30 points behind them. 😆
  10. Absolute scenes when we survive, Burnley go on a great escape run at Forest and Spurs' expense and we play them both next season.
  11. it really did look like the most obvious spawny 1-0 forest win on paper and looked to be going that way for most of the game - the way it ended was simply delightful
  12. I want Spurs to bottle it and get Dyche in just for the optics of him and Nuno both keeping teams up at Forest's expense in the same season.
  13. what a weird day, can livingston at least hold on for a point please
  14. 2-0 Livingston
  15. Now can West Ham PLEASE wake the fuch up and start picking up some wins? Everyone's been busy clowning on Spurs but these red arses are there for the taking.
  16. THEY'VE GIVEN IT HAHAHAHAHAHA EFF OFF FOREST
  17. i hate football so much just fold the game
  18. Salah's falloff has been noticeable, at this point he's the weak link in this Liverpool team. Slowing their overall attacking play down in the same way Ayew does for us.
  19. It'd be quite funny if Fofana's red ends up being to blame for Chelsea missing out on UCL football.
  20. We've not even had an issue scoring goals this season, which given that our actual strikers are non-existant is nothing short of a miracle. We all know what the issue is - we need three goals to win most games, and even that wasn't enough to see off Southampton. Rowett's got a seemingly simple job on his hands, but with this lot it's a big ask. Individual errors and failures to do the basics when it comes to tracking opposite numbers have been our undoing, and today Stoke showed how piss-poor we are at defending any sort of well-placed cross with pace. He doesn't really need to coach our attacking players, besides Mavididi who is a greedy bastard who has been costing us chances all season by failing to make the right decisions in the final third. The backline need nearly all of the focus. My question is - What's Gary Rowett's favourite pizza, and when will we get to order one?
  21. Would require Divine intervention
  22. Terrible first half, MOTM second. Needs more support from his #8 to function in that AMF role I guess. Looked better when Winks decided to start doing his job properly second half.
