  1. A lot of them are going to get the absolute piss taken out of them at whatever club they end up at. Imagine taking one of our sorry lot in to your dressing room knowing how mentally weak and easy to play against they've shown themselves to be? It could break them professionally having it ground into them how pathetic they are by people with standards. I honestly think folks like Luke Thomas, Harry Winks and Stephy Mavididi would get eaten alive if they did move elsewhere at this point.
  2. Been on night shift since we were relegated and lost track of time, don't you dare tell me it's time for this one already
  3. Took them 43 and a half games to show the effort levels required to compete in the SECOND TIER while being paid premier league wages and taking us to what will be our worst points tally in the league in 141 years - even WITHOUT the points deduction if we don't win both remaining games. We were completely cooked. When Thomas scored, my reaction wasn't "YESSS, WELL DONE", it was "WHERE THE F*** HAS THAT BEEN SINCE AUGUST YOU WORKSHY BELLEND?!" It's hard to "get behind the lads" in those circumstances - if anything it's a source of anger to see it when it's far, far too late. Proof they're capable but simply haven't been bothering to try. Honestly I'm surprised one or two didn't go full nuclear and invade the pitch. The pricks deserved far worse - but seeing all the anti-board and KP out stuff was very cathartic after half a decade of unforgivable rot. Friday is going to be another fun one. In a perverse way, I'm looking forward to it more now, knowing we're down and there's absolutely no ambiguity that our club has disgraced itself.
  4. I also think people are missing the point of this sort of club being formed - it's not purely about rocketing back up the leagues, it's about having something that brings Leicester City, or a form of it, back to fans and gives them a say in how it's run. That could be either as a phoenix club if LCFC collapse (Macclesfield, Hereford, Bury all good examples), or a breakaway club if King Power choose to cling to the remains of our club (FC United spring to mind). I personally would still be happy supporting a form of my club that was based in Leicester and which I felt connected, or directly involved in, even if it wasn't able to pull itself back to the same level of relevance as, say, Wimbledon have done. I also think it would be well-supported - the growth in demand at clubs like Anstey, Quorn, Coalville and Market Harborough isn't a problem for a start-up, it's proof that the hunger is there. I'd go as far as to say that Anstey Nomads are the de facto breakaway club at this point with all the ex-Leicester connections on the club side, but it's not ideal - it's just the closest thing geographically to a club in the city itself worth supporting. If the club is in the city itself, that's how you get the wider buy-in. As it is, it's a tough sell for folks in opposite parts of the county to gravitate to somewhere like Quorn or Market Harborough for LCFC 2: Fosse Boogaloo. Anstey also shows there's interest from ex-pros and those involved in the club who would support something like this. With enough momentum I don't think it would be that hard to find some business / ex pro backing for a direct breakaway or phoenix club to get it into the pyramid at some sort of level that would generate support.
  5. Always thought Friar Lane & Epworth would be a great shout for a location for something like this, for what it's worth. Tidy little ground to start out at within the city itself.
  6. Leeds fans are such a weird bunch, would think they've got more important things to be focussing on right now. For a supposedly big club they don't half look small time
  7. I just can't believe there are real-life glazers of Elon Musk on FoxesTalk of all places. Put the blue checkmark down, he's not gonna shag you mate.
  8. Bump. I'd like to do whatever small part I can to make this a reality.
  9. Oh it's really not a consolation in the slightest, if anything it will piss us off more if we now go on and win two meaningless games. Bonus points if youth players we've been crying out to see all season now get minutes and impress. FWIW, really hope you get promoted. As a taxpayer, I feel like I should have some say in what happens to the Olympic stadium I helped pay for, so you have my permission to smash the place up if you and the Hammers end up in the same division.
  10. How it's ended
  11. What's he on a week again? Jokes aside, that's absolutely terrible news for our finances. He's probably paid more a week than entire first XIs at the lower end of League One where we'll likely find ourselves.
  12. This is iconic, the sort of thing you can pull out every time a KPFC type pipes up. Honestly I'm sat here laughing at so much of the fall-out from tonight, it's been strangely cathartic seeing it all crumbling for Top, Rudkin et al in real time as the penny finally, irreversably drops.
  13. Cool, and we'll keep going until you're forced out of our club. Bastard.
  14. Sadly sums up the last ten years of LCFC - a "nice guy" who has somehow stuck around long enough to be expected to lead a group of absolute charlatans into battle. I think that's his legacy well and truly tarnished - sorry Ricky, I used to love you, but the last four years have finished that. You're not "FA Cup Winner" Ricardo, you're "Relegated to League One as club captain" Ricardo. Piss off with the rest of them.
  15. My favourite image of the night.
  16. oh look, it's another actual championship striker that half our fanbase turned their noses up at in the summer
  17. Booing everyone except Jordan James hahahaha
  18. You do realise most games are going to general sale already? It's great, I can put my feet up on the two empty seats next to me and drift gently to sleep to the sound of sideways and backwards passing.
  19. I'm just so sad that this is how and when it's announced. I should be buzzing for something like this. Instead I couldn't care less. The very future of the club is in jeapordy, I don't want to relive the 'good times' knowing there might not be a club left to support in as little as two or three years. Think this is what drives home for me just how miserable Leicester City currently make me.

  22. Done, thanks for putting this together. Didn't know there was a free membership tier for the trust either, signed up. 👍
  23. Got mates who are Reading and Doncaster fans, so playing them is about the only thing I'm personally looking forward to. It's going to be a brutal year, anyone expecting a Pearson type season is going to be bitterly disappointed. The prospect of being forced into playing more youth players is the only small mercy.
  24. Technically our worst season was 1990-1991 with 50 points in a 2nd tier season with 3 points for a win, and i CBA to go through the thread as i pointed it out on here last week. We stayed up on a sheer technicality because only two teams went down as a one-off due to the league structure changing. Cheers Tony James, I guess. That said, I also mentioned in that thread that KPFC types will use the points deduction as an asterisk if we go down within the six point margin. That is irrelevant if we fail to gain three points between now and the end of the season - even in 'fair play' we can now only match our 07-08 season.
