The easy picks are Bristol City and Millwall. Both in or near the playoffs last year yet written off as having peaked. To be fair, Millwall get that every year, because they're Millwall. A perverse part of me would love to see them in the Premier League for a season, purely for the carnage when they have to face West Ham. I thought Derby actually looked decent despite their late collapse against Stoke. Carlton Morris is a great acquisition for them, couldn't do much in that freefalling Luton side last year but he knows where the goal is. Don't have much time for the sheep botherers but would prefer them up there than C*v.

Would quite gladly see us scrape a 3-2 win with Soumare caught out by literal children for both of theirs, if it helps drive home the fact that we don't want certain wasters at our club anymore. No Faes is a massive bonus in that regard though.

Be proper interesting to see how Bristol City do this year, they ran out of steam big time at the end last time out and stunk out the playoffs. But they had a very good season. They've been a solid outfit and improved year on year since Pearson's stint helped clear out the deadwood and instill a good squad mentality. Funny, that.

Also, why does every team except us seem to have at least one Japanese player now? I know it's stereotyping, but they always have such a good workrate, just what our side needs. Stoke bring on Seko and he instantly provides the assist for their second. Having been to Japan though, good God the lad must have had the worst culture shock rocking up in bleeding Stoke. I hope they're paying him enough for the sacrifice.
